Are you ready for a 5-day vacation in the mountains of Dagestan? A rich program with a secret location on the route for travelers who want to see more than in replicated sightseeing tours of Dagestan.

We will visit the top places of the republic: Sulak Canyon, Gamsutl, Matlas, Goor, Saltinsky Waterfall and Tobot, we will add an extreme trip to the Noho cave, where there is a suspension bridge between the rocks at the height of a 20-storey building.

We will have lunch with local residents, live in the mountains for a few days, and the last one will be in Derbent, where a separate program is planned.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival. Sulak Canyon, Noho Cave
At 11:00 we will meet with the guide and immediately go to get acquainted with the republic. Let's have lunch and relax after the trip.
And after a delicious and satisfying lunch, we will go to see the Sulak Canyon, the deepest in Europe, deeper even than the Grand Canyon in America.
We will visit Noho Cave, which consists of three caves connected by labyrinths.
In the evening, we'll have dinner at the Glavryba restaurant and check into the hotel.
Timing of the day:
11:00 meeting at the railway station or airport;
12:30 lunch in the Salamanov garden or at the Amber Trout farm;
13:30 Noho Cave;
15:00 transfer to Zubutli Bay;
17:00 departure from Zubutli;
18:30 welcome dinner at Glavryba.
Accommodation: recreation center in the Sulak Canyon area.

Day 2 - Irganai reservoir, Khunzakh and Tobot Waterfall
After a delicious breakfast, we go to the Irganai reservoir. While walking through the reservoir, you will be able to explore its beauty and uniqueness from a new perspective.
When it's time to relax, we'll organize a picnic on the beach where you can enjoy delicious snacks and refreshing drinks.
Next, we will go to the village of Khunzakh, where you will plunge into the rich history and see incredible natural wonders. The first place that is definitely worth a visit is the Tobot Waterfall. He falls from a height of 100 meters.
The stone bowl is a natural wonder, a maze formed by nature itself.
The last location today is an unusual secret place located in Mochokha. And in the evening we check into the guest house and relax after a busy day.

Day 3 - Villages of Kahib and Goor, Karadakh gorge
We had breakfast and were on the road again. Today our way lies to two ancient villages of Kahib and Goor. Here we will try authentic local cuisine, prepared with love by the residents of the village.
We will learn not only about traditional dishes, but also about the life of the locals, their customs and culture, and visit the famous Troll language.
And today we are waiting for a magical photo shoot in national costumes in a place with stunning landscapes and breathtaking views.
After lunch, we will go to the Karadakh gorge, a place that envelops in an atmosphere of mystery and mystery while making our way through narrow gorges and passing between high cliffs.

Day 4 - Gamsutl ghost village, Saltinskaya gorge and waterfall
Today we are leaving the guest house and moving on with our journey.
Gamsutl is a village where life was in full swing 40 years ago, and now it is called a ghost village.
To get here, you will need to climb a little uphill, but the views that you will discover here will definitely not leave anyone indifferent.
After a delicious lunch, we head to Derbent, through the Salt Gorge, where we will enjoy the beauty of the impressive waterfall.
You will be stunned by the incredible landscapes, towering cliffs and roaring water, shrouded in a mysterious atmosphere.

8:00 a.m. breakfast;
9:00 departure with luggage;
10:30 Gamsutl;
13:30 lunch with local residents;
14:30 Saltinskaya gorge and waterfall;
16:00 transfer to Derbent;

Day 5 - Derbent: Naryn-Kala fortress, a walk through the magals. Departure
We will start our day with an amazing historical monument — Naryn Kala.
You will be able to walk through its halls and rooms, feel like a real researcher of the past.
We will stroll through the narrow and beautiful streets of Magalov, visit the Juma Mosque, which is one of the oldest buildings of its kind in Russia. We will visit the Armenian Temple.
And in order to fully relax and enjoy the tastes of Dagestani cuisine once again, we will go to an immersive cafe.
The Lun is a rocket—carrying ekranoplane, a one-of-a-kind aircraft. It is located on the coast in Derbent.
Timing of the day:
9:00 a.m. Breakfast / check-out with luggage;
10:30 Naryn Kala;
11:30 walk through Magala, Juma mosque, Armenian Temple;
13:30 lunch at an immersive cafe;
14:30 Harrier;
15:30 departure to Makhachkala;
17:30 arrival in Makhachkala. After the tour, transfer to the airport or railway station. The estimated time of arrival is around 18:00.

The tour is suitable for tourists of any level of physical fitness. But there are places where visiting will require additional physical training from you: Gamsutl, Karadakh gorge.

It's important to know

a raincoat (preferably not a disposable one) or a membrane jacket;
sunglasses, lipstick.

Please do not bring excessively low-cut clothes, shorts should not be above the knee, knee-length dresses with closed shoulders.
