Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Arrival. Sulak Canyon Tour

Arrival at Makhachkala airport on morning flights is the beginning of a long journey.

Meeting on the day of arrival at the airport "Uytash" in Makhachkala at the exit of the arrival hall with a sign "Dagestan".

    Group transfer at 12:30.

A hearty lunch will begin your acquaintance with the hospitable republic, which will allow you to relax after the flight and enjoy the tastes of local cuisine.

Today you will be immersed in the wonderful world of natural wonders and the scale of the Dagestan land.

Excursion to Sulak Canyon is one of the most spectacular places in the Caucasus.

Its depth is 1,920 meters, which makes it even deeper than the famous Grand Canyon in the USA.

You will visit the observation decks of both the canyon itself and the Chirkeysky reservoir, which offers a fascinating view of the confluence of water and rocks, where time seems to have stopped.

Transfer to Makhachkala and check—in at a 4* hotel is a comfortable start to your vacation in the heart of Dagestan.

Dinner is on your own, so that you can start exploring the city at your own pace: stroll along the embankment or taste local delicacies in one of the cafes.

Overall, everything was fine. The only downside was that there was a bit too much repeated information in the chat, so it was sometimes hard to remember which file contained the information I needed. Otherwise, everything was great
