Itinerary

Day 1 - Meeting. Sulak canyon, reservoir and dune
The day will start with a visit to the Chirkeyskaya hydroelectric power station: the most powerful in the North Caucasus, with an arched dam, and the tallest in Europe — 233 m!
The hydroelectric power station has created a man—made reservoir, Lake Chirkey. Boats sail through the azure blue water, and in summer people swim and relax on the beach here.
Next, we will head to the Sulak Canyon. The deepest canyon of Eurasia with a length of 1920 m will turn your head with its beauty. It may seem to you that you are standing on the edge of the earth, but no — the Sulak River stretches below, reflecting the sun's rays.
Then we'll go to lunch. The very first acquaintance with the national cuisine will take place in the Salmanov garden (in the winter of Glavryb).
After lunch, prepare for the best sunset of your life. The golden miracle of Dagestan, the famous filming location of the film "The White Sun of the Desert" is the Sarykum dune.
Feeling the power of this place, you will taste coffee or tea, watching the sun disappear below the horizon. We head to the hotel, relax and gain strength before another amazing day.

12:30 p.m. Viewing platforms at Sulak Canyon.
14:00 Lunch at the Salmanov Peach Orchard/Glavryba (in winter).
15:30 Departure to the dune.

Day 2 - Kahib and Goor, Lunch with locals with a master class
Today you will travel to the mountainous part of Dagestan.
The ancient villages of Kahib and Goor will welcome you and tell you their story.
The defensive towers of Goora, the streets of Kahiba and the incomparable nature of these places will allow you to fully experience the flavor of the republic.
In Kakhiba you will have a master class on cooking chudu, a real treasure of the national cuisine of Dagestan.
The caring hostess will tell you about all the subtleties of cooking this dish, and then a delicious and hearty lunch in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
In Goor, we will visit the Dagestani Troll Language.
Here you will have a real photo shoot in national costumes.
Timing of the day:
8:00 Departure from the hotel;
11:30 a.m. Kahib village.
13:00 Lunch with local residents with a master class on cooking a miracle.
14:30 Goor, photo shoot in national costumes in Troll Language.
16:30 Departure to Makhachkala.
20:00 Return to Makhachkala.

Day 3 - Derbent, Naryn-Kala. Departure
The final day of the tour will be dedicated to a walk through Derbent, one of the oldest cities in Russia.
Derbent means "Linked Gates" for a reason — the city of the Bronze Age, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, located on 2-3 km of the Caspian Sea coast.
You will visit the famous Naryn Kala fortress, the country's oldest Juma mosque, stroll through the ancient streets of Derbent, stroll along the embankment and finally enjoy the sea breeze of the Caspian Sea.
Today's lunch will be held in the traditional national style with full immersion in the life of Dagestanis.
During the event, local residents will tell you about the peculiarities and subtleties of Dagestani cuisine, share a meal with you and give you a feeling of real Caucasian hospitality.

Group transfer after the tour, estimated time of arrival in Makhachkala around 18:30.

We ask you to respect the culture of the region and not to take excessively low-cut clothes / short shorts with you. Women are advised to take a light knee-length dress with closed shoulders. Men get by with light sweatpants.
