Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival. Sulak canyon, Gimrinskaya tower
Gathering of the group at the airport of Makhachkala.
The recommended arrival time is before 12:00.
Group transfers:
Uytash airport;
railway station, Makhachkala;
central hotels of Makhachkala.
First of all, we will go to get acquainted with the business card of the republic.
Freshly caught trout fried on coals to a crisp will be served for lunch (it is possible to replace the main course on request).
Vivid emotions will be provided by riding a speedboat through the largest reservoir in the North Caucasus for an additional fee (from 300 rubles).
The famous green ribbon of the Sulak Canyon, winding between the narrow rocks, sparkling in the sun, carries its waters from the Chirkeyskaya hydroelectric dam to the Miatlinskaya dam.
From the observation deck of the village of Dubki, you will have a view of its most spectacular bends.
We will visit one of the most interesting places in Dagestan — the Nokhyo cave complex (additional fee – 500 rubles).
The tunnels are connected by a suspension bridge over the Sulak River, on both sides of which there are observation decks.
They offer unimaginable views.
After passing through the longest road tunnel in Russia, 4304 m long, you will find yourself in the heart of Dagestan.
Along the way, you will find the austere peaks of the rocky mountains, the Gimrinskaya Tower, where the first imam of Dagestan fell in battle, and the emerald waters of the Irganai reservoir.

Day 2 - New Goor, Old Kahib
Breakfast at the guest house.
Dagestan translates as "the land of mountains", and the second day of our program will open for you the hidden corners of the mountainous part of the republic.
Old Kahib hid on the mountainside, the houses here seem to grow out of the rock, reliably hiding their inhabitants from the gaze of outsiders.
You will walk among the ancient ruins, admiring the architecture and landscape of the ancient settlement.
After the walk, you will go to Novy Goor, where you will have a hearty lunch with a hospitable Avar family.
Old Goor is the pearl of Dagestan.
The name of the village translates as "windy", and be careful, not only the wind blows away here, but also impressions.
It is here that you will take gorgeous photos in the "troll language", so named by one of the first tourists, which of course is a reference to the Norwegian landmark, and is not one iota inferior to it in beauty.
You will see the ancient watchtowers, which are protected by the state, and keep the legends of bygone centuries.
Return to the guest house.

Day 3 - Gamsutl, Gunib
Breakfast at the guest house.
Gamsutl is another top attraction of the republic.
Lost among the mountains, abandoned by the inhabitants, it is spectacularly located on the mountainside.
The narrow streets of the ancient settlement will take you into the depths of history.
There are impressive views waiting for you at every turn.
A trekking route through the forest leads to Gamsutl.
Along the way, you can refresh yourself with icy water from a mountain spring and take a breath.
For lunch, go to Gunib, famous for the events of 1859.
Here you will taste traditional Avar cuisine.
The local museum of local lore Guniba will tell you about the Caucasian war and about the man inextricably linked with it.
After a busy day, you return to the guest house.

Day 4 - Khunzakh highland plateau, departure
Breakfast at the guest house.
Check out with your belongings.
The Khunzakh highland plateau is the most extensive in Dagestan.
This is the homeland of great warriors and poets.
The Tsolotlinsky Canyon, located at the foot of the 19th century fortress, is impressive in scale.
You will walk along the very edge, to the sound of the Tobot and Itl-tlar rivers falling to the bottom of the canyon.
Inspired by the views, go for lunch to the Shamil district, where traditional Avar cuisine will be presented.
Group transfer to the airport and railway station of Makhachkala upon departure.
The recommended departure time is after 19:00.

Khadija Guest House is located in the Khunzakh district in the village of M.Gotzatl.

The guest house has 16 rooms for 36 people. Each room has its own private bathroom,flat-screen TV,air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, towels and a bed are also provided. All rooms are 2-bedded, there are rooms with one large bed as well as rooms with two single beds. All rooms are new, clean, cozy with all amenities. In the courtyard of the guest house there is a cafe very beautiful, cozy with very friendly staff. Cuisine of national and European food.
