Admire the valley, surpassing even the Grand Canyon in Arizona in depth.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Meeting. Sulak Canyon. Transfer to Derbent
We will meet the group at Uytash airport in Makhachkala until 11:00. We are moving through the Buinaksky pass towards the Sulak Canyon.
The first stop is at the Chirkey reservoir.
After that, we will climb to the Dubki observation deck, about 1000 meters above sea level, and enjoy the views of the Sulak Canyon.
Next, we will have a delicious lunch of freshly caught trout in the restaurant of the Glavryba eco-complex.
After a short rest, we will move to the most ancient city in Russia — Derbent.

Day 2 - Naryn Kala and Juma Mosque. New Year's Banquet
The morning starts with breakfast in the hotel restaurant.
Then transfer to the Naryn-Kala citadel for an excursion and immerse yourself in the fascinating history of the fortress.
At the end, a walk through the streets of the old town (magalam).
You will see the ancient Juma Mosque, the Maiden Baths complex, and visit Peter's House (dugout), the place of Peter I's overnight stay during the Persian campaign.
At the end of the tour, a magnificent national lunch at the restaurant.
Transfer to the hotel and free time for those who want to walk along the embankment, visit the Derbent market or just relax in the room.

Day 4 - Huchni. Lunch at the ethnodome
After breakfast at the hotel, we will have an excursion to the Khuchni center of the Tabasaran region of Dagestan.
We will visit the Khuchna fortress of "seven brothers and one sister", the local museum, and listen to the legends.
Let's take a walk to a unique picturesque place, "little Switzerland" — Khuchninsky waterfall.
From here we will go for a national-style lunch at the ethnodome.

Day 5 - The village of Akhty. Hot springs. Lunch at Akhtyn's
After breakfast at the hotel, we go on a guided tour.
The tour will begin with a visit to the Akhtyn Museum, which has more than 10,000 exhibits in its collections.
Then a walk through modern and old Akhty. The village is located 1100 m above sea level in the valley of the Samur River.
The ascent to the rotunda is for those who wish. It requires physical training, but even from half the height of the stairs there is a very beautiful view.
15:00 Lunch at the Akhtyn's (included in the price of the tour).
A visit to the healing hot sulfur springs, known since the 4th century A.D. (not included in the price, the visit depends on the state of health). After them, you will return to Derbent refreshed and refreshed.
