Itinerary

Day 1 - The meeting of the group in Mineralnye Vody. Evening walk in Zheleznovodsk
We will meet you at the airport or at the railway station in Mineralnye Vody — any flight before 17:00.
An excursion bus tour in the North Caucasus in the autumn, when the mountainous nature arranges a carnival of colors and flowers, is a wonderful gift to yourself!
After the meeting, you will go for a walk through one of the most beautiful resort parks of the Caucasian Mineral Waters in Zheleznovodsk: the famous Cascade Staircase, mineral water springs, the Palace of the Emir of Bukhara, the Egg of Desires and other attractions — everything is for you!
You will not only tune in to a wonderful pastime, but you will instantly feel changes in yourself, because traveling in the Caucasus is a joy every day!
In the evening we will stay at the hotel and have dinner.

Day 2 - Transfer to Arkhyz. Telescopes of the Astrophysical Observatory
Welcome to Arkhyz, the All–Russian mountain resort in Karachay-Cherkessia!
On the way, you will stop at the ancient Adiyukh Tower, standing on a high cliff.
In Arkhyz, you will go on a bus tour to the capital of Great Alanya — the Nizhnearyz settlement, see the monumental temples of the tenth century, climb to the rock icon — the Arkhyz Face of Christ.
On a journey through Karachay-Cherkessia, antiquity gives way to modernity: at an altitude of 2070 m, a complex of telescopes of the astrophysical observatory is located.
The autumn views of the velvety multicolour of the Arkhyz mountains opening from a height are a delightful background for your photos!

Day 3 - Free day in Arkhyz
On this day of travel in the North Caucasus, you can arrange an autumn holiday to your liking.

Mountain forests are painted with thousands of natural pigments from dark emerald to sunny yellowness, and the blue of the sky seems simply impossible.

Day 4 - Karachay-Cherkessia. Shoana and Senta, Teberda
Karachay-Cherkessia is three popular mountain and climatic resorts at once!
Today, on a trip to the North Caucasus, you are greeted by a friendly Teberda and invited to climb two high holy mountains – Shoana and Senta — where ascetic Byzantine temples of the 10th century, monuments of national importance, rise.

Day 5 - Dombai. Mount Moussa Achitara
On an excursion tour in the Caucasus, it's time for the third world-famous resort in Karachay-Cherkessia!
In Dombai, you will climb the Moussa Achitara Mountain.
A cable lift will take you to a height of more than 3000 m, and you will see a 30-kilometer chain of peaks of the Main Caucasian Ridge, deep Dombai gorges, and in clear weather – even two heads of the gigantic stratovolcano Elbrus!

Day 6 - Gum-Bashi Pass. Kislovodsk

It is impossible to list all its wonders – numerous terrancours, the Valley of Roses, the bridge of Ladies' Caprice, the Temple of Air, the grotto of the Demon, observation decks and a huge variety of other beauties!

The route of this day's trip in the North Caucasus depends on the weather.
You will either have a bus tour to the Chegem gorge to the huge waterfalls, striking with a variety of rock streams: from powerful cascades to crying jets; or climb the Elbrus cable car to the Mir station at an altitude of 3500 m and review the phantasmagoria of paintings of the endless world of mountain peaks, eternal ice and snow.
