One of the most interesting sights in the North Caucasus is the famous Chegem waterfalls.

The history of waterfalls is connected with the melting of glaciers from the peaks of the Caucasus. The meltwater makes its way through the cavities of the mountains and comes out over the rocks in the form of picturesque waterfalls.

Thousands of small and large water jets flow and fall from a great height into a rushing river flowing below.

The Cherek Gorge is very picturesque. Charming Blue Lakes are located at a considerable height, and you will have the opportunity to visit one of them on our guided tour.

The blue lake is a pearl hidden from view in the highlands. It is karst, which means that the groundwater has filled the funnel formed as a result of the leaching of rocks. Small size and serious depth are traditional for such reservoirs.

Blue Lake is considered one of the deepest in the world. Beyond the Blue Lake, the old Balkarian wheeled highway begins, passing through the narrow Cherek gorge between steep cliffs on one side and a gaping chasm above the river running deep below on the other.

The village of Verkhnyaya Balkaria is located in the upper reaches of the Cherek River, one of the left tributaries of the Terek. And it is the original place of settlement of the people, and then the natives of this village occupied the neighboring gorges. The ancestral towers are located here.

Dombay the highest point is Dombay—Ulgen peak with a height of 4046 m. It is not for nothing that it is called the "heart of the mountains."

In summer, Arkhyz turns into a mountainous, environmentally friendly, and ideal resort for lovers of hiking and sightseeing.

In winter, people go here to go skiing, snowmobiling, sledding, snowboarding.

In the mountains of the Caucasus, on a sheer cliff, sheltered from the weather by a natural stone canopy, there is an amazing attraction.

The face of Christ was discovered in Arkhyz in 1999, although rumors about the icon in the mountains had been circulating for a long time.

The exact date and circumstances of the creation of the image are still unknown, as is its author.

Scientists and believers continue to put forward versions, but the Face of Christ is still surrounded by mysteries.

The temple complex, located in the gorge of the Bolshoy Zelenchuk River on the territory of the Nizhne-Arkhyz settlement, the complex includes three cathedral churches and eleven small churches (entrance ticket for an additional fee of 300 rubles /person).

The Elbrus region is one of the most picturesque and interesting places in the North Caucasus. On the tour you will visit the foot of the greatest peak of the Caucasus – Elbrus (5642 m).

Admire the southern slope of Elbrus from Mount Cheget from a height of 3040 m.

You will see wild gorges, gorges and glaciers from which stormy rivers are born, you will taste the mineral springs of Elbrus.
