Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Mineralnye Vody
Arrival at the airport / railway station in Mineralnye Vody before 12:00-12:30.
12:30 Group transfer to Nalchik from Mineralnye Vody.
If there are flights to Nalchik, please specify at the time of booking about the possibility of replacing the city of arrival.
Stop for lunch for an additional fee.
Sightseeing tour of the city of Nalchik, founded in 1818.
You will walk along the alleys of the Atazhukinsky resort Park, get acquainted with the rich history of the city, its cultural and natural monuments.
After the walk, you can enjoy the view of Nalchik from a height: The observation deck offers panoramic views of the capital of the Republic, including the legendary Soviet restaurant Sosruko located nearby.
In the pump room you can also drink mineral waters, for which the Caucasus is so famous.
The ascent to the observation deck is carried out during the opening hours of the cable car for an additional fee: 350 rubles/ person.
Excursion to the Madina Art Center Saralp.
Madina Saralp is a fashion designer who creates exclusive clothes based on the national costume.
You will have a tour of the art center, where you will get acquainted with the permanent exhibition of ethnic dresses, artifacts, the history of the national costume, hear real stories about Madina Saralp's relatives, thanks to whom the center appeared, the traditions and culture of the Balkarian people are preserved and transmitted.

Day 2 - Jeep tour through the Aktoprak pass to the village of El-tyuby and to the Chegem waterfalls
Breakfast at the hotel.
Off-road trips to the Chegem gorge to the unique karst waterfalls.
The gorge was formed under the influence of running river water: it "cut through" a narrow and deep canyon in the Rocky Ridge massif.
The average width of the passage in the gorge is only 20 meters; on both sides, ancient mountains, whose height reaches 800 meters, overhang the narrow path.
Lunch with dishes of national cuisine in a cafe on your own.
Crossing the Aktoprak pass (2,200 m. above the sea level) in jeeps.
During the trip, you will admire the majestic mountains from a bird's eye view.
The next stop will be one of the most ancient and mysterious places of the Chegem gorge — the ancient Balkarian village of Eltyubyu (XIII-XVIII centuries).
Eltuby is known for its impressive structures: stone ground-level crypts and medieval towers.
It is Eltyubu that is the birthplace of the most famous Balkarian poet Kaisyn Kuliyev.
Return to the hotel.

Day 3 - Excursion “Majestic Elbrus". Thermal springs

Transfer to the Elbrus region.
Arrival at the Azau clearing.
Ascent to the slopes of Mount Elbrus to a height of 3800 m. by cable car (additional fee 1,600 rubles/person on the spot).

Day 4 - Blue lakes and Upper Balkaria. Departure

A journey to the heart of Balkaria in the gorge of the Cherek River, where 18 mountain villages have been located since the 12th century.
There are many archaeological sites on the territory of the village and in its surroundings.
You will meet with a local resident who will tell you about the life, customs and rituals of the highlanders.
You will see medieval towers and ancient villages that attract the attention of cinematographers; in particular, the film "War" by Balabanov was shot in this area.
Lunch with a mountain family with dishes of national cuisine or at a local cafe.
Stop at the Blue Lake, which is rightfully considered the pearl of Kabardino-Balkaria.
The depth of the lake is 278 meters, which makes it the third deepest in Russia.
Transfer to Mineralnye Vody airport for flights departing after 20:00.
