Itinerary

Day 1 - The beginning of the tour. Check-in at the hotel
Check-in at the hotel after 14:00

Day 2 - Upper Balkaria
Excursion "Upper Balkaria" at 6:50.
According to the program of the excursion:
The Chegem Gorge is one of the most picturesque in the Caucasus, where the film "Sannikov Land" was filmed, a walk along the gorge along the Chegem mountain river to the Chegem Waterfalls — the largest karst waterfalls in the Caucasus.
Meals on the route for an additional fee.
After the walk, a late breakfast with dishes of the national Balkarian cuisine (extra charge).
Transfer to the Cherek gorge about 2 hours.
The village of Upper Balkaria in the Cherek Gorge is the ancestral home of the Balkarian people.
Inspection of ancient towers.
Cherekskaya Gorge is a stop on an observation deck near a deep cliff overlooking an ancient mountain road.
Blue Lake is the deepest karst lake in the Caucasus (it is cold).
Aushiger village — bathing in a hot spring.
Return to the hotel at 19:00-19:30.

Day 3 - Honey waterfalls or Zheleznovodsk

Excursion "Honey waterfalls" at 13:20.
Koltso Mountain is one of the Lermontov places in Kislovodsk.
Tea house (free tasting of herbal tea and many types of jam).
There is an opportunity to buy: jams, herbs, sweets.
Honey Waterfalls is a gorge of the Alikonovka River, decorated with several waterfalls.
On the territory of the camp site there is an ethnographic museum "Karachay's compound", national costumes for photos.
Return to the hotel ~ at 19:00.
OPTION II
Excursion "Zheleznovodsk" at 14:20.
Zheleznovodsk is the most picturesque of the resort towns of the Caucasian Mineral Waters.
It is located on the slopes of Zheleznaya Mountain.
It is famous for its calcium waters.
A walk through the Zheleznovodsk resort Park: Ostrovsky baths, Lermontov spring, monument to M.Y.Lermontov, cottage of the Emir of Bukhara (E.Telman sanatorium), Pushkin Gallery, monument to A.S. Pushkin, Slavyanovsky and Smirnov springs (tasting of mineral water), Smirnov playground, Cascade staircase.
Return to Pyatigorsk at 18:00.

Day 4 - Elbrus or Dombay
OPTION I
Excursion "Elbrus" at 6:00.
Excursion to the foot of the highest peak of the Caucasus, Russia and Europe, Elbrus, which is the most mysterious and mystical mountain of the Caucasus.
According to the program of the excursion:
Meals on the route for an additional fee.
Breakfast at 07:00-8:00 at a roadside cafe — for an additional fee.
Stop (for 2 hours) at the Cheget meadow — the foot of the Cheget mountain, from the slopes of which the best view of Elbrus opens in clear weather.
Two levels of the chairlift are raised to a height of 3,100 meters above sea level.
Stop (for 3 hours) at the Azau glade — the southern foot of the Elbrus.
Climbing on closed cable cars.
Cable cars for an additional fee.
Lunch at Azau after the descent from the cable cars at 14:00 for an additional fee.
Stop at Narzanov glade (for 30 minutes) on the way back from Elbrus.
Narzan tasting, you can take unlimited bottles with you for free.

Excursion to Dombay at 6:30.
Dombai is the most famous tourist and ski center in the Western Caucasus.

There is a small stop in the Teberdinsky National Park: either the mountain river Ullu-Murudzhu, or the lake Kara Kel.
Dombayskaya polyana (at 11:00) — stop for 4 hours.
All cable cars in Dombay are laid along the slopes of Moussa Achitara Mountain.
Ascent by cable cars from Dombayskaya polyana.
1st ascent by closed cable car to a height of 2270 m.n.o.m.;
2nd ascent of the 6-seater chairlift to a height of 3012 m.n.o.m.;

Day 5 - Mountainous Ingushetia
Only for citizens of the Russian Federation with a permanent residence permit (not temporary registration).
Excursion "Mountain Ingushetia" at 5:30.
Ingushetia is a land of towers and legends.
According to the program of the tour:
Stop for breakfast at 8:00 at a roadside cafe (extra charge).
The Egikal tower complex is the medieval capital of Ingushetia.
The Vnushki tower complex, one of the 10 man-made wonders of Russia.
The temple of Thaba-Yerdy is the earliest Christian temple in the Caucasus (VIII century)
The gorge of the Assa River, decorated with stone pillars.
The "Tower of Concord" in the city of Magas, ascent to a glass balcony at a height of about 100 meters.
Lunch is a dry meal (take extra with you!).
Stop for dinner on the way back (at 19:00), at a roadside cafe for an additional fee.
Return to the hotel at about 21:30.
