Ski tour in the Elbrus region

Our hotel is located in the village of Terskol, between the mountains of Cheget and Elbrus.

Every morning, around 08:30-09:00, we will take a bus to one of these mountains, the distance is only 3-4 km.

Undoubtedly, the most favorite mountain of tourists in these places is Elbrus, a magnificent snow giant, whose height reaches 5642 m.

Cable cars smoothly lift tourists to the Krugozor, Mir and Gara-Bashi stations.

As a result, we will climb to 3,850 m! From here you can enjoy a wonderful panorama of the Main Caucasian Ridge, the mountains of Georgia and the familiar peaks of Ullu-Tau and Bezengi.

For beginners, the most comfortable riding area is the trails that start from Mir and Gara-Bashi stations.

And for experienced skiers and boarders, the whole mountain is accessible!

After riding for half a day, let's all get together in a cafe and share our impressions.

And then we'll continue skating again.

Skiing on the mountain lasts until 16:00-16:30, then we take the bus back to the hotel.

It is very convenient that every year there is a ski run through the beautiful pine and birch forests between the Elbrus and Cheget mountains.

Using this ecotrope, you can move from Mount Elbrus to Mount Cheget or ski to our hotel at any time.

We explore new trails, hone our skills and just enjoy riding.

In addition to skiing, in the Elbrus region, you can enjoy hiking through the gorges, see frozen waterfalls, ride horses, snowmobiles, and even rent snowshoes and hike through the freshest snow!

To make our ski vacation even more intense, today we will go on one of the most popular winter walks — to the Narzanov glade.

The trail through the gorge goes through coniferous forest for the most part, and for a while we will walk along the beautiful winter Baksan River.

Along the trail, there will sometimes be resting places in the form of wooden gazebos.

At the end of the route we will come to a huge clearing, where there are several sources of narzan.

Let's try this unusual and healing water!

Narzan is always saturated with a variety of trace elements.

For example, the local narzan is very rich in iron.

Let's rest in the narzan glade and set off on our way back.

Active part: 18 km on foot, height difference within 230 m, duration 6-7 hours.

If you have funny animal costumes — tigers, pandas, dragons or raccoons — by all means take them on a trip!

After riding on the mountain in the morning, according to tradition, we will all gather together in a cafe for lunch.

In the Elbrus region, they bake excellent hichins with cheese, meat, and potatoes.

In the Elbrus region, more than 3 meters of snow falls every year, so the trails here are always amazing!

In the evening, tired and satisfied, we return to the hotel again.

Transfer by minibus from Elbrus region to Mineralnye Vody (3-3.5 hours).

12:30-13:30 Arrival in Mineralnye Vody (airport, railway station), departure home.
