The country of towers and legends is the name of the mountainous part of Ingushetia. In this part of the republic, you will find unique landscapes, hospitable people and an incredible number of slender medieval towers.

The tour program will allow you to get acquainted with the most iconic sights of the republic: the architectural complexes of Erzi, Egikal, Vnushki and many others. In 2008, the Vnushki tower complex became a finalist in the "Seven Wonders of Russia" competition project. Discover an amazing land — mountainous Ingushetia!

Itinerary

Day 1 - Meeting with Ingushetia. Transfer to the Armhi resort
Arrival at Nazran Airport on morning flights (recommended flight is Pobeda Airport at 10:25).
11:00 Meeting of the group with a local guide.
Departure to Mountainous Ingushetia.
Passage through the border post, document verification (for foreign citizens, including from CIS countries, travel to the border zone is possible if a border pass is issued 45 days in advance).
Arrival at the Armkhi resort, accommodation in rooms of the selected category.
Lunch (on your own)
In the open-air museum, you will have a two-hour walk to the Erzya Castle complex.
Translated from Ingush, "erzi" means "eagle".
Erzi is a beautifully preserved nine towers on the mountainside above the Armkhi River.
The towers and walls of the complex are made of river boulders and stand without foundations, directly on the rocks.
Return to the Armkhi Hotel, rest.
Dinner on your own.
Access to the wellness complex (sauna, steam room, swimming pool) is optional (for an additional fee).

Day 2 - Excursion to the Egical tower complexes, Vnushki
Breakfast at the hotel.
Meeting with a local guide.
Inspection of the medieval center of Ingushetia – Egikal from the observation deck.
The complex is located in the Targim basin of the Dzheyrakh district at the foot of the Tsey Loam mountain.
It is believed that it was the cultural, political and economic center of the Middle Ages.
The program will continue with a visit to one of the most striking and exotic tower complexes among the defensive structures of ancient Ingushetia.
The monument Inside consists of three main towers, two of which stand on top of one cliff, and one on the opposite cliff.
The towers of the complex attract attention from afar, they are located in the picturesque Guloi Khi River gorge against the backdrop of impressive cliffs and ridges of the Caucasus.
There are many legends associated with the Inside, which you will hear during the tour.
Lunch on the way (dry rations).
After lunch, we will get acquainted with the oldest Christian church in Russia – Thaba-Yerdy in the Assinsky gorge, on the right tributary of the Assy River, near the border with Georgia.
The date of the construction of this temple in various studies "floats" within 700 years, from the VIII to the XIV century inclusive. Thaba-Yerdy is amazing because for centuries it has been a material example of the intertwining of architectural and cultural traditions of a thousand years ago.
This temple is a kind of message from the ancient inhabitants of these places to their descendants, a rare evidence of historical ties that existed in the North Caucasus.
After a busy program, return to the Armkhi hotel, dinner (on your own).

Day 3 - Excursion to Magas. Exit
Breakfast at the hotel.
Check-out from the hotel at 12:00.
Free time at the resort.
Departure to the new capital of the Republic of Ingushetia – Magas.
Along the way, you will see the ancestral tower in the village of Jeyrah.
Magas is a young city being built specifically to become the capital.
The interest of visitors to the city is aroused by public transport stops equipped with underfloor heating, solar panels, air conditioning, heated benches and foot blowing.
They even have a coffee machine, a TV and an electronic library!
Also one of the attractions of the city is the alley "Mothers of Russia", dedicated to all women mothers.
Trees were planted on it from each subject of the Russian Federation.
Lunch with national cuisine.
You will visit the Alan Gate Arch, a symbol of the capital of Ingushetia, its ancient and heroic history.
It consists of two side and one central tower with a height of 15 meters. Since ancient times, Ingush teips have been building their ancestral towers.
The ancestral tower was a reliable home, protection and the personification of the unity of the whole family.
A visit to the 100-meter Concord Tower with an ascent to the observation deck.
Transfer to Vladikavkaz airport for the A/c flight after 19:00.

The Armkhi resort is located in picturesque mountainous Ingushetia, surrounded by protected nature and historical architectural monuments — this creates a special atmosphere of immersion in the past. People have been coming here to improve their health since the 1920s: walks through the pine grove, various medical procedures and spa services help guests recover.

The Armkhi Hotel stands in a pine forest above the Dzheyrakh gorge. There are accommodation options for every taste and budget: the main building offers comfort rooms with or without mountain views, the Turk building offers standard rooms, and the Chaika Hotel offers economy and standard rooms.

The Armkhi Cafe is located at the hotel: if you have chosen a breakfast, full board or wellness rate, you will find a morning buffet.

The resort area is equipped with everything necessary for a relaxing stay: there is a wellness center, a Finnish sauna, outdoor and indoor pools with spring water, a conference room and a tour desk. It offers Wi—Fi in all areas and a variety of entertainment options.

Overall, everything was fine. The only downside was that there was a bit too much repeated information in the chat, so it was sometimes hard to remember which file contained the information I needed. Otherwise, everything was great
