Day 1 - Irkutsk, Listvyanka

09:00 – transfer to the village. Listvyanka for boarding the ship.

70 kilometers along the Baikal highway is your finish line on the way to Lake Baikal! On the way – acquaintance with the guide and the first facts about Lake Baikal.

Boarding the ship, accommodation in cabins. Getting to know the team and safety instructions.

After a hearty lunch, we plan to disembark at the village.Tanhoi.

The settlement was founded in 1903 in connection with the construction of the Trans-Siberian Railway. Now Tankhoy is the administrative center of the Baikal State Natural Biosphere Reserve, which we will visit. The main purpose of the reserve is to preserve the unique local ecosystem, environmental education and education.
Day 2 - Ogoy, Olkhon

In the morning, we will make a landing on the small island of Ogoy and visit the Buddhist Stupa of Enlightenment – a fairly modern landmark, but with an interesting history.
After lunch, we will approach the island of Olkhon, which we already know, but from its northern part.

After lunch, we will reach the famous Olkhon Island, the "heart" of Lake Baikal. It is here that we will see the famous Shamanka Rock – one of the nine shrines of Asia, for sure, you have already seen it on postcards or on television – because this is the most famous Baikal landscape.

Today is going to be a very busy day! After reviewing the village of Khuzhir, we will go on an excursion on the colorful local UAZ – the only transport that never fails, along the northern part of Olkhon to Cape Khoboy (attention! additional excursion – about 4000 rubles/person).
Day 3 - Academic Bay
Our day will be full of hiking and beach holidays. We arrive at Akademicheskaya Bay, the Baikal Dunes recreation center.

Today we will climb the Observation Rock (2.5 hours, the difficulty level is low), from where a magnificent panorama of Lake Baikal opens – Sandy Bay, Grandmother and Granddaughter Bays, Cape Grandfather. The Sennaya Bay with a forester's house and a sauna is visible.

After returning in the evening, a Russian sauna will be waiting for us on the shore of Lake Baikal.
Day 4 - Grandma's Bay
Today you can devote yourself entirely to tanning on a sandy beach in any of the bays, as well as a small trekking trip to Grandma Bay (2.5 hours, the difficulty level is low)

Here you will find beautiful views, Lake Baikal with incredible colored water and a sandy beach. Along the way, you can see another of the attractions of these places – stilted trees. Mighty pines and larches with branches twisted by the wind rose above the ground on stilt roots taller than a man.

The captain's dinner is waiting for you in the evening.
Day 5 - Irkutsk

The end of the cruise. Before heading to Irkutsk, we will take a look at the fish and souvenir market.

At about 13:00 – arrival in Irkutsk.

Alexander the Great is a comfortable double–decked motor ship. In 2018, it underwent a complete renovation, with fully renovated cabins, a modern restaurant and bar. The ship is designed to accommodate 31 guests, including 14 cabins with all amenities.

The advantage of the ship is the ability to dock almost anywhere on Lake Baikal. The ship has panoramic windows that allow you to admire Lake Baikal in any weather.
