Day 1 - Ivanovo city tour, Moya Zabava factory Museum, master class, gala dinner
The recommended train from Moscow is No. 740, departing at 07:07 from Kursky railway station, arriving in Ivanovo at 10:48.

Ivanovo is a city of unique metaphor houses, the most revolutionary history, the birthplace of the "main" Russian fashion designer Slava Zaitsev and the father of Russian chanson Arkady Severny, the youngest and most colorful city of the Golden Ring of Russia!

The first mention of the city dates back to the XV century. However, in the following centuries, Kineshma was, although large and rich, but a rural settlement (sloboda). Kineshma received its urban status only in 1777 as part of Catherine's urban reforms.
In addition to the Volga trade, the city also developed its own textile production.
Kineshma is the living embodiment of picturesque, cozy and charming Volga antiquity. An incredibly charming merchant town, a real "quiet harbor" on the shore of the luxurious, unusually wide Volga River in this place.

Day 2 - Shchelykovo Museum-Reserve, a tour of Kineshma, the Valenok Museum, a performance at the Kineshma Theater

Excursion to the favorite corner of the great Russian playwright — the Shchelykovo Museum-Reserve.
The estate of the great Russian playwright Alexander Nikolaevich Ostrovsky is a place that he compared with the best places in Switzerland and Italy. She became his lifelong love.
You will visit the Ostrovsky House, a rare museum in Russia with the effect of the presence of the owners.
It was here, in the cozy study of his native home, that the beautiful Snow Maiden was "born" — the most beloved and romantic character of Ostrovsky's "spring fairy tale" of the same name.
You will admire the blue openwork house of the Snow Maiden, walk through the park to Yarilina Valley, where there is a Blue Snow Maiden's key with crystal clear water.
Return to Kineshma.

"New Year's charm of a provincial city" is a sightseeing walking tour of the historical center of the city.
During an exciting walking tour of the city center, you will get acquainted with its history, take a walk through those places that will take you into the atmosphere of a merchant county town of the XIX century.
You will visit the snow-white Trinity-Assumption Cathedral, founded back in 1745, next to which the magnificent openwork bell tower of the cathedral, erected in 1798, flaunts.
This cathedral was once visited by Emperor Nikolai Pavlovich and members of the Imperial family!
You will walk along the magnificent Volzhsky Boulevard, decorated with ceremonial mansions and beautiful old buildings, from here you can enjoy fascinating views of the Volga River.
Excursion to the unique private museum of the Sokolov family — the Valenok Museum.

On the eve of the great feast of the Nativity of Christ, let's talk about the temples that were the centers of people's spiritual life before the revolution.
Today, the purpose of our tour will be the churches of the ancient merchant city of Shuya.
There were more than 20 churches in Shuya before the revolution. Most of them were built in the XIX-XX centuries. But there were also several ancient temples that existed already in the XVII century.
Some have survived to our time, others, unfortunately, have been destroyed. You will hear their amazing stories.
The Church of the Resurrection of Christ, where the list of the miraculous icon of the Shuisky — Smolensk Mother of God is kept. There was an icon in the Church of the Intercession, presented by Ivan the Terrible.
The Church of the Savior Not Made with Hands has a special fate, it was one of the most beautiful temples. Another Shui shrine was kept here — the Life-Giving Cross (an exact copy of the one in New Jerusalem), it was famous for healing.
Vasily Petrovich Tsvetaev, the great—grandfather of the poet Marina Tsvetaeva, served as a deacon here at the beginning of the XIX century.
In 1930, the Church of the Savior was blown up. On holidays, the lights of the Temple installation on the site of the lost shrine are lit on the square.
