Day 1 - Departure from Moscow. Sergiev Posad, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Rostov the Great

Transfer to Sergiev Posad.
Excursion to the Trinity-Sergius Lavra.
The Trinity-Sergius Lavra is a pearl of Orthodox shrines in Russia with a centuries–old history. The architectural ensemble of the Trinity-Sergius Lavra is under UNESCO protection.
Trinity Cathedral (exterior) is the main cathedral church and the oldest surviving structure of the Trinity Monastery, the first stone building of the Lavra. The main shrine of the cathedral is the relics of St. Sergius of Radonezh.
The Assumption Cathedral (interior) is the architectural center of the Trinity-Sergius Lavra.
It is inferior in seniority to the famous Trinity Cathedral, but nevertheless, with its location and strict majesty, it heads the Lavra group of buildings.

Departure to Pereslavl-Zalessky.
Today Pereslavl is a charming city on the shores of the fabulous Pleshcheyev Lake, with beautiful panoramas and mesmerizing views.
Translated from Old Russian, Pereslavl means "who took over the glory", because the city was founded by the founder of Moscow, Prince Yuri Dolgoruky in 1152.

The majestic Spaso-Preobrazhensky Cathedral of the XII century is located on the square – the only one of the five first white stone temples of Northeastern Russia that has come down to us almost in complete preservation.
Many Pereslavl princes were baptized in the cathedral, including Alexander Nevsky, who was born in Pereslavl in 1221.

Departure to Rostov Veliky.
Rostov is called Great for a reason, because its mentions date back to 862 in the annals. The serene Lake Nero, strict and elegant monasteries, quiet streets and the majestic Kremlin help to break away from the hustle and bustle and touch the formation of Russia and Orthodoxy, turn over the pages of chronicles and history textbooks live.
Visit to the Rostov Kremlin.

Day 2 - Yaroslavl and Kostroma

Departure to Yaroslavl.
Excursion program in Yaroslavl.
You will see the arrow of the Volga and Kotorosli rivers, the Assumption Cathedral, walk along the Volga Embankment reconstructed for the 1000th anniversary of the city, explore the unique architectural ensemble of the central part of Yaroslavl, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
A visit to the Spaso-Preobrazhensky Monastery is the main city attraction. Due to the fortified walls, it is called the Kremlin. The main cathedral of the monastery has preserved the original paintings, it is the oldest extant temple in Yaroslavl. A handwritten list of the masterpiece of ancient Russian literature "The Word about Igor's Regiment" was discovered here

Inspection of the Church of Elijah the Prophet (interior – in summer, exterior – in winter) is an outstanding architectural monument of the Yaroslavl school of architecture.
Return to Kostroma.

Sightseeing tour of Kostroma – the most beautiful city on the Volga, one of the pearls of the Golden Ring.

The ancient merchant city, which has preserved to this day the original appearance of the architectural ensemble of the XVIII century, will open the veil of mystery of its unique history.
In the center there are:
the fire tower of the XIX century is an outstanding monument of classicism;
The Guardhouse building;
a perfectly preserved ensemble of Shopping malls, which are still in service.
Kostroma is the cradle of the Romanov dynasty. It was in the Ipatievsky Monastery of Kostroma that Mikhail Fedorovich Romanov hid from Godunov's disgrace.
Ipatievsky Monastery is the main symbol of Kostroma.
Inspection of the territory of the recreated Kostroma Kremlin, where the miraculous icon of the Fedorovskaya Mother of God is kept in the Epiphany Cathedral.
It was written around 1239 and glorified by great miracles and healings.
This is the most ancient work of iconography in Kostroma. The icon has long been revered as the defender of the city and the guardian of the Romanov family.

Day 3 - Suzdal

The city has been known for textile production since the 17th century. Since then, the city has been called the calico region, as well as the textile capital of Russia and, of course, the city of brides.
It is the youngest city of the Golden Ring.
Sightseeing tour of Suzdal is a museum city with about 200 historical monuments, many of which have UNESCO World Heritage status.
The city is called "the glorious city of heaven" and "the cradle of the Golden Ring".

The Suzdal Kremlin is the oldest building in the city, which has absorbed its entire history since Vladimir Monomakh. According to archaeologists, the Kremlin in Suzdal was built as early as the 10th century, despite this, all its main buildings have survived to this day, with the exception of perhaps protective walls and towers.

Day 4 - Moore

This is the oldest city in the Vladimir region, it was mentioned in the "Tale of Bygone Years" back in 862!
Murom is a city of white stone monasteries, merchant houses of the XIX century and the birthplace of the epic hero Ilya Muromets.

The date of its foundation coincides with the date of birth of the Russian State and dates back to 862. Despite its long life and rich history, it still retains its traditional Russian appearance — 4 Orthodox monasteries, many temples and architectural monuments adorn its panorama.
"Whoever has not seen Murom from the Oka has not seen Russian beauty," the writer Maxim Gorky admired the city.

Travel sightseeing tour of Vyksa (upon check-in at a hotel in this city).
The city of Vyksa is one of the oldest centers of the metallurgical industry in the country.
In the very center of Vyksa there is an ancient park in the French-English style, modeled on the famous European parks in Versailles, the Summer Garden in St. Petersburg, Peterhof parks. The compositional axis of the park — the main lime alley — ends in the south with the Batashev house-palace. The Batashevs are the largest steel industrialists, founders and owners of a dozen and a half factories.

Day 5 - Diveevo. Completion of the program

Transfer to Diveevo.
Excursion to Diveevo to the Serafimo-Diveevsky monastery – named after Seraphim of Sarov, who took care of this monastery.
Inspection of the existing temples:
Trinity Cathedral: the holy relics of St. Seraphim, the miraculous icon "Tenderness".
Transfiguration Cathedral: the relics of St. Martha of Diveevo, the relics of Blessed Paraskeva.
Kazan Church: relics of the Venerable Alexandra, Martha, and Elena.
The Holy Groove of the Most Holy Theotokos is the greatest Diveevo and world shrine. The Priest spoke about the grace bestowed by the Holy Groove: "Whoever goes through the Groove with prayer, and reads a hundred and fifty "Theotokos", that's all here: Athos, Jerusalem, and Kiev."
Visit to Diveevo Holy springs: the Mother of God "Kazan", the icon "Tenderness", the holy healer Panteleimon. You will be able to collect healing water and, if desired, swim in it.
