Day 1 - Arrival in Kaliningrad. City tour
Arrival at the Kaliningrad airport or railway station.
Check-in at the hotel after the tour.
Please note: the program specifies the exact start time of the excursions (local time). Please do not be late, the bus departs according to schedule. Due to the possible traffic congestion, the waiting time for the bus can be 10-15 minutes.
The program includes a guided tour of Kaliningrad with an organ concert in the Cathedral.

Sightseeing tour of the main sights of the city: Victory Square, the sculpture "Fighting Bison" in front of the Konigsberg Land Court, the monument to Peter I in front of the headquarters of the Baltic Fleet, the drama Theater, the area of the old German villas Amalienau, the defensive fortifications of the city, the Royal and Rosgarten Gates.
You will see the only Amber Museum in our country, which is located in a fortress tower of the middle of the 19th century in the center of Kaliningrad, on the shore of a picturesque lake.
You will definitely visit the Cathedral (an example of 14th-century North German Gothic), where the grave of the famous philosopher I. Kant is located, learn the history of the main church of the city, the University of Albertina and, of course, Koenigsberg itself.
Listen to an organ mini-concert under the arches of the cathedral and admire its grandeur.
Visit the Marzipan Museum at the Brandenburg Gate.

Day 2 - Curonian Spit National Park and Zelenogradsk

The Curonian Spit is an amazing place where the sandy desert, the greenery of the forest and the expanses of water — the sea and the bay hugging this very narrow strip of land! The Curonian Spit is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
A trip to the national park will give nature lovers the pleasure of walking through the pine Dancing forest with amazing trees and the seashore, contemplating the dune landscape and the Curonian Lagoon from the observation deck of Efa Height, the highest dune on the peninsula, as well as pleasant fatigue in the legs, oxygen saturation in the lungs and peaceful peace in the soul.
Free time for lunch and the sea.
You will have the opportunity to purchase smoked fish, which is caught here in the bay or the sea.
You will get acquainted with the oldest and most famous resort in East Prussia — Krantz (now the city of Zelenogradsk).
During a walking tour of Zelenograd, you will see the unique ancient architecture of Krantz: boarding houses, hotels and private villas from the turn of the late 19th-20th centuries; St. Adalbert Lutheran Church, Queen Louise Square and the house where she stayed in 1807, and much more.
A walk along the boardwalk will allow you to enjoy a wonderful view of the sea.

Day 3 - Excursion "Amber Coast"
The program includes an excursion "Amber Coast".

The village of Yantarny got its name for a reason: according to geologists, the largest amber deposit in the world is located here.
And this is the only place in Russia where industrial extraction of solar stone is carried out. Amber is a business card of the Kaliningrad region.
We will tell you all about amber. The program includes a visit to the enterprise, where you will be told about the extraction, processing of amber and the manufacture of jewelry with amber. You will also learn about the beneficial, healing properties of this stone. Amber is used in pharmaceuticals and in the production of medicinal amber cosmetics.
In your free time, you can visit the quarry of the Kaliningrad Amber Combine, where amber is mined in an open-pit manner, and where the stone's path from the earth to man begins.
A visit to the quarry is offered on request, payment for tickets at the company's ticket office starts from 1300 rubles.
As part of the tour, there is time for shopping for amber products and souvenirs, because here in Yantarny is the main specialization of activity: stone mining and making everything from amber!
We will also take a walk around Yantarny and get acquainted with its history. Amber used to be called Palmniken. The place is decorated with an ancient Lutheran church from 1892 and the Schloss Hotel building from 1881, built as the home of mining owner Moritz Becker, as well as an arboretum with century-old trees, a place where you can hide from the summer heat.
Transfer to Svetlogorsk.
Next, we will explore the sights of Svetlogorsk-Rauschen.
You will be enchanted by the resort's ancient architecture of the late 19th and early 20th centuries: private villas, boarding houses, and hotels.
Organ hall, larch Park, water tower, Kurhaus, variety theater "Amber Hall".
The symbols of Svetlogorsk are the beautiful works of the German sculptor G. Brachert — "Water Carrier" and "Nymph".
You will be led to the sea by the terrencourt slopes, where a promenade has been built near the water for the convenience of vacationers.

Day 4 - Excursion "A walk through Gvardeysk and Tapiau Castle"

You will visit the charming town of Gvardeysk, which has preserved the main signs and colors of the old town of Tapiau: the market square, the town hall with a musical clock, the 17th-century church and the typical urban buildings of these places.
And the history of many cities here began with the founding of a castle-fortress by the knights of the Teutonic Order in the Middle Ages.
In the preserved part of Tapiau Castle, you will be transported to the past, rich in vivid events and famous names of the guests of Tapiau Fortress.
In Tapiau, the Soviet poet and war correspondent A.T. Tvardovsky met the end of the war in 1945. It is here that he will complete the poem "Vasily Terkin". You will see a monument to the beloved hero.
The city is also known as the birthplace of the German artist Lovis Korinth, famous for his monumental paintings on mythological and religious themes. He is considered the last major portrait painter of Germany in the second half of the 19th–early 20th century.

It is impossible to visit the Kaliningrad region without photographing the mysterious castles.
According to the program, we will visit the ruins of Shaaken Castle in the village of Nekrasovo. Its distinctive feature is its unusual oval shape, and the Teutonic Order never built such castles again.
A tour of the castle grounds will take you back to the Middle Ages.
The Inquisition Museum in the castle's basements will complement the experience.

The "Tourist" Hotel was excellent. It had everything we needed, and the city center was even within walking distance, about 15-30 minutes depending on your pace. The excursions to the towns around Kaliningrad, especially Zelenogradsk and Yantarny, were absolutely wonderful, really interesting, atmospheric, and enjoyable. I’d especially like to mention our guide, Lyudmila. She was friendly, funny, positive, and had a great sense of humor. Her tours were informative and engaging without overwhelming us with too much information. She explained everything in a simple and memorable way - more like: See this building? Here’s why it looks this way and what makes it special. That style made the excursions especially enjoyable. To be honest, the castle tours in Kaliningrad itself were a bit less interesting, since many of the castles are now partly in ruins.
