A trip to a unique place – NP “Curonian Spit" + Nesselbek Castle and Zelenogradsk.
During the tour you will learn about the processes of Spit formation, about the settlement of the Spit by Prussians, Curonians, about their traditions, beliefs, rituals.
Get acquainted with the life of fishing villages, learn about the human struggle with shifting sands.
Climbing one of the highest dunes in Europe, Efa, you can see the surface of the Curonian Lagoon and the waves of the Baltic Sea at the same time.
A walk through the “Dancing Forest" awaits you – it is still an unsolved natural anomaly. The tree trunks in this forest are bent in the most bizarre way.
From April to October, the tour program includes a visit to the bird banding ornithological station, and in winter, the Curonian Spit Museum (sightseeing, additional charge: 350 rubles).
Lunch on the way (not included in the price) – some free time is allocated (if possible, take a snack with you).
Zelenogradsk is a walking tour of the city, formerly the royal resort of Krantz. An introduction to the history of the city and its surroundings from the time of the Viking settlements to the present day.
Walk along the boardwalk and park. Sightseeing: St. Adalbert's Church, monument to Zelenograd cats, pump room with mineral water.
It's not a long walk in Zelenogradsk – if you wish, you can stay in the city and get to Kaliningrad on your own (trains, buses, taxis).
At the end, return to Kaliningrad at 19:00.
