Baltic tour of the Kaliningrad region

09:00 "Amber Eldorado" (route: village Amber).

What we will see:

• Yantarny village tour (Palminiken);
• visit to the observation deck of the amber quarry, the Dino Park, the Amber World Museum, the amber pyramid, the mini-quarry with amber;
• visit to the existing amber production "Amber Lagoon";

The Kaliningrad Region is a unique region, which contains about 90% of the world's amber reserves. And in the village of Yantarny there is the only quarry in the world where amber is extracted industrially.

We will visit the observation deck of the quarry and see with our own eyes where and how the sunstone is mined, as well as feel like real prospectors in a mini-quarry and get a few amber stones for ourselves.

Let's take a picture with the lizards, the same age as amber, and take a look into the "Amber World".

In the Amber Lagoon, we will get into the very heart of jewelry production, where craftsmen will tell you about the intricacies of working with a sunstone, teach you how to distinguish fake amber from the original, and demonstrate a wide range of jewelry made from natural Baltic amber.

A pleasant end to the tour will be a walk along the wide beach, which has been awarded the international Blue Flag award and meets the high requirements of safety, ecology and tourist service.

09:00 Excursion "To the very west" (route: Baltiysk — Baltic spit).

What will we see:

• Baltiysk city tour, "Russian" embankment, lighthouse, monument to Peter I, monument to Empress Elizabeth;
• ferry ride to the Baltic Spit, visit the Old Lunette Museum.

Feel the breath of the fresh Baltic wind as you walk along Russia's westernmost embankment!

Russian Russian icebreaker Ermak stood in the harbor where Peter the Great walked, and you will see the embankment, named Russkaya in the middle of the 18th century, and the harbor where the Russian icebreaker Ermak stood, and now the warships of the Russian Navy are moored.

The beautiful pre-war architecture, the walls of ancient fortresses, the new temple, the bicentennial lighthouse and the majestic sculptures of Elizabeth and Peter will remain in your memory for a long time.

Then take the ferry to the Baltic Spit, where you will see the fortifications and the Old Lunette with its history, movies and delicious pies.

And after that, you will find magnificent beaches, sea views and flocks of swans sharing the water area with proud ships.

10:00 Sightseeing tour of Kaliningrad.

What will we see:

• 4 hours bus and walking tour of Kaliningrad: Kanta Island, Amalienau, Fish Village;
• tasting at the marzipan Museum.

You will find a unique preserved Koenigsberg and a modern European Kaliningrad.

The tour, lasting more than 20 km, will reveal to you the most beautiful areas of private villas (19th century), city gates (18th and 20th centuries), pre—war and modern squares and parks, ravelins, bastions and towers (18th and 19th centuries), the famous Konigsberg bridges, unique churches and the main symbol of the city - the Cathedral.

During the tour, visit the Konigsberg Marzipan shop-museum, where you can learn the history of the delicacy, see interesting exhibits and even taste this delicacy!

The tour ends at 14:00.

08:30 Excursion "To the kingdom of the sea, dunes and bird voices" (route: NP "Curonian spit").

What will we see:

• ornithological station "Fringilla", "Dancing forest";
• ascent to Efa and Avandune Heights;
• free time on the beach.

The Curonian Spit National Park is a narrow strip of land between two bodies of water: The Baltic Sea and the freshwater Curonian Lagoon, its uniqueness lies in a rare combination of natural and cultural heritage.

Here you can enjoy the sea breeze while strolling along the white sandy beach, admire the pine trees twisting in an intricate dance, and listen to the incessant bird trills.

On this atmospheric excursion, you will visit ornithologists and learn many interesting facts about the life of birds, try to solve the mystery of the "dancing forest", climb the highest dune of the Russian spit territory — Efa Dune, and spend the rest of your time on a luxurious white beach, under the avandune.
