Kaliningrad is a special city. Architecturally, eventfully, geographically, this city is not at all like other cities in Russia.

You can see the unique preserved Konigsberg and modern European Kaliningrad during our trip.

Today in our city, a walk from one central point to another can take about two hours, but during this walk it will be very difficult to see the main attractions.

Thanks to our tour, which is more than 20 km long, in just three hours you can see the preserved areas of private villas (19th century), city gates (18th and 20th centuries), pre-war and modern squares and parks, ravelins, bastions and towers (18th and 19th centuries), the famous Konigsberg bridges, unique churches and the main symbol of the city — The cathedral.

During the tour, you will visit the Konigsberg Marzipan shop-museum, where you can learn the history of such a delicacy as marzipan, see interesting confectionery exhibits and even taste this wonderful delicacy!

09:00 Excursion "Multicolored province" (route: Pravdinsk — Zheleznodorozhny — pos. Friendship).

Kaliningrad is a city with two stories, but the region is not far behind. Going to the former Friedland, today Pravdinsk, we will not only remember the "heroes of bygone times", whose names have been preserved, but also give you the opportunity to climb one of the very first churches built on our land.

It was from St. George's church that one could once watch the battle, the participant of which became the first recipient of the St. George Cross.

And while walking around the city, we will stop at the house described in Leo Tolstoy's novel "War and Peace" — it has been preserved to this day.

Zheleznodorozhny is one of the most picturesque settlements in the Kaliningrad region, founded in 1325 (!) as Gerdauen Castle.

For hundreds of years, people have been coming here to enjoy the wonderful views. And although the houses in Gerdauen were restored after the First World War, the renovated streets leave a complete feeling of the Middle Ages, running from the church to the lake, and will look wonderful in your photos.

After walking through the elegant streets, admiring the church and the castle mill, visiting the entourage cafe-museum "Gramophone", we will go to the lock of the Masurian Canal, a majestic structure that literally celebrates the genius of human thought.

And only the return trip, along the "Prussian alleys", will give you the opportunity to absorb all the impressions you have received.

09:00 Excursion "From knights to kings — castle, fortress, fort" (route: Gvardeysk, Tapiau castle — village Lower reaches, Waldau Castle — Fort No. 1 "Stein").

All the owners of the lands of Prussia sought to demonstrate their power and strength in stone, erecting grandiose structures that served both as residences and fortresses.

The past centuries have cast a veil of oblivion over the names of proud rulers, but the ancient walls continue to rise majestically above the lands of East Prussia.

On our tour, we will be able to touch a bygone era and appreciate the grandeur of the designs embodied in castles and fortresses.

We will see Tapiau Castle, which was a ducal residence, then an orphanage for the poor, and then became a prison for many years.

Then we will go to Waldau Castle, where we will learn not only about the history of the castle built by the Teutonic Knights, but also walk along the path of Peter the Great, who stayed at the castle during the Great Embassy.

And then we will see the defensive structure of the XIX century — Fort No. 1 "Stein", part of the "Konigsberg Night Feather Bed" — a unique protective ring designed to make Konigsberg an impregnable fortress.

09:00 Excursion "Resorts of East Prussia" (route: Svetlogorsk — Zelenogradsk).

Zelenogradsk and Svetlogorsk — Krantz and Rauschen are the most famous and popular resorts in both East Prussia and the Kaliningrad region.

And each of them has something to be proud of. Kranz is the first state—owned resort in East Prussia on the Baltic Sea coast, opened in 1816, and the city that Kaliningrad residents love the most.

There are wide beaches, a spacious promenade, and comfortable streets leading to the water tower.

The tower was carefully restored, and today the Murarium Cat Museum is located there, and from the observation deck there is a view of Zelenogradsk and the Baltic Sea.

Svetlogorsk captivates at once — everything seems to have been created for leisurely walks and admiring the beautiful — like toy villas of the early 20th century, winding paths running down to the sea, the steepness of the coastal slope, urban sculpture, and all this framed by a magnificent green outfit.

09:00 Guided tour "The history of amber resorts" (route: village Yantarny — Svetlogorsk).

For centuries, the shores of the Baltic Sea were inhabited by harsh fishermen and warriors, one of whose crafts was the extraction of amber.

At the beginning of the 19th century, the famous physician Friedrich Kessel came to the conclusion that resinous air, seawater and mud baths bring more benefits to patients than bloodletting and potions, and since then villages on the shores of the Baltic Sea began to rapidly turn into fashionable resorts.

The traditions of a healthy and pleasant vacation "on the waters" have been preserved to this day, and it is with them that we will introduce you on our tour.

We will visit the beautiful Rauschen (Svetlogorsk), which still remembers the rustle of long skirts and the clatter of canes of the aristocratic public, and the small Palminiken (Yantarny), whose resort fame came already in the 21st century, after the conquest of its beaches by the "Blue Flag".

You will see with your own eyes how different and very beautiful resort towns can be, and you will also visit a real production facility, where you will get acquainted with the secrets of amber extraction and processing, which, just like hundreds of years ago, gives people the Baltic Sea.
