Acquaintance with the village of Yantarny, formerly Palmniken. You will get acquainted with the history of the place. The architectural dominants of the place are the Lutheran Church of 1892, the aristocratic building of the Schloss Hotel.

You will walk to the sea through the M. Becker Park with century-old trees. Since 2016, Yantarny Beach has been receiving a blue flag every year – a sign of an ecologically clean and equipped beach according to world standards. The largest amber deposit in the world is located here.

You can visit the quarry of the Kaliningrad Amber Combine, where amber is extracted in an open industrial way. You can try yourself as an amber prospector and, armed with a shovel, get a "sunstone" in a mini-quarry as a souvenir and recharge with natural energy and health in the Amber Pyramid, which took about 800 kg of amber to build.

And how to visit Kaliningrad without photographing the mysterious churches and castles. We will definitely look inside the medieval Neuhausen church in Guryevsk (1292), where we will hear a real organ.

Then we will visit the ruins of Shaaken Castle in the village of Nekrasovo. Its distinctive feature is an unusual octagonal shape, the Teutonic Order never built similar castles again. A tour of the ruins of the castle, which, like other fortresses in Prussia, was built on the site of a Prussian fortification, will plunge you into the Middle Ages. Route: Baltiysk.

This excursion to the city of Baltiysk is a previously closed base of the Baltic Fleet for free access. You will learn the history of the formation of the fleet since its foundation by Peter the Great, to whom a monument was erected on the city pier in 1998. You will see the lighthouse of the famous architect Schinkel, the reformatory church, which became an Orthodox church, and the Swedish fortress, which was built in the middle of the XVII century and which is still an active military facility.

The Curonian Spit is a unique corner of nature, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. A narrow strip of land between the Baltic Sea and the Curonian Lagoon. Transfer to Zelenogradsk. You will get acquainted with the very first and famous resort of East Prussia – Krantz, now the city of Zelenogradsk. You will travel to a city of historical significance, rich in sights from different eras: the ruins of the medieval castle-fortress of Insterburg of the XIV century, the magnificent building of the Reformed church of 1883 (now the Orthodox St. Michael's Cathedral of the Chernyakhovo—Slavsky diocese), the Catholic church of St. Bruno, built in the Neo-Gothic style in 1902.

The charming old architecture of the city of Insterburg, which was very similar to pre-war Berlin. Tsar Peter I personally visited Insterburg, as well as the Great Embassy of 1697. In reminder of the era of the Napoleonic Wars, there is a monument to the hero of the Russian Empire, Field Marshal M.B. Barclay de Tolly and a monument to a Russian soldier, the work of the famous Russian sculptor V.Surovtseva, the house where Napoleon stayed in 1812.

During the First World War, the troops of the 1st Russian Imperial Army were stationed in the city. And, of course, a monument to General I.D. Chernyakhovsky, commander of the 3rd Belorussian Front, whose name the city proudly bears.

The Normandy-Niemen squadron with French pilots was based in the city at the end of World War II.
