We are going to Baltiysk.

For a long time, this city, the westernmost point of our vast country, was closed to tourists.

But now you have the opportunity to freely stroll around the city, examining the ships of our navy, see the Russian embankment, built in the Prussian city during the reign of Elizabeth Petrovna, the hotel where Nobel laureate Joseph Brodsky stayed, the bicentennial lighthouse and the majestic monuments of Peter I and his royal daughter, and on the seashore many attentive tourists have already found their little piece of the sun.

You will be able to visit the famous Pillaus fortress of the 17th century, the walls of which were seen by the troops of the Swedish King Gustav II Adolf, the great embassy of Peter I, the army of Napoleon Bonaparte, and fell before the onslaught of our Soviet troops during World War II.

Baltiysk, which was opened to us only in the 90s, has preserved the spirit and atmosphere of all the eras that it had to go through, and its appearance does not leave any tourist indifferent.

The village of Yantarny is a place where the most important treasures of the Baltic coast are hidden. It is here that the world's largest amber mining enterprise is located.

We will walk through the ancient park, see the house of industrialist Moritz Becker and his family, the Lutheran church of the late 19th century, and, without exaggeration, one of the best beaches in Russia and Europe, which has the prestigious international Blue Flag award.

Rauschen – Svetlogorsk will captivate you with its romantic atmosphere: private Art Nouveau villas, ancient buildings of sanatoriums and boarding houses of the beginning, narrow quiet streets and the most fascinating views of steep sandy slopes washed by the noisy Baltic wave.

And all KVN fans will be able to take a photo next to the modern variety theater. In addition, the city is filled with arboretum parks, which turns it into a real botanical paradise.

During this tour, you will have a unique opportunity to visit the factory and see with your own eyes how the sunstone is processed, what products are made from it and where else amber can be used.

An excursion to the Curonian Spit National Park is a trip to the magical land of singing sands and dancing trees. A unique creation of nature and man.

We will drive along the roads of Peter the Great, Thomas Mann, Queen Louise and many other great people, climb to the height of Efa, which offers a fascinating view of the winding ribbon of forests separating the bay and the surf, see open sand dunes, go down to the seashore and try to find a piece of the sun on the soft sandy shore.

You can also try the most delicious smoked fish on the entire Baltic coast and, of course, buy it from local fishermen.

During this tour, we are going to Zelenogradsk (formerly. Krantz), which back in 1844 received the status of a royal resort. We will walk along the main pedestrian street of the city, explore such unique objects as the Church of St. Adalbert (Bishop of Prague), a pump room with our famous mineral water and a water tower built in 1904. And, of course, we will find out why Zelenogradsk is called the city of cats.

The spirit of the Middle Ages still hovers over Kaliningrad today. And we invite the guests of the city to plunge into this atmosphere.

We will take you to the famous castle, founded on the site of the Prussian fortress of 1270 – Schaaken Castle.

Here you will be introduced to the history of this unique structure, the stages of its formation and prosperity.

You will see a collection of medieval weapons, the Inquisition museum and household items of the inhabitants of that time.

Next, we will go to a small family-owned production facility.

Schaackendorf has been around for a relatively long time, but it has already proven that the company produces some of the best cheeses in our region.

You can see this for yourself by trying about 6 different varieties of semi-hard and hard cheeses.

Enjoy a glass of wine with delicious locally made chocolate. Those who wish will be able to purchase their favorite product at the cheese factory store.

And on the way back we will stop for a photo break at the famous castle-hotel "Nesselbeck".
