Itinerary

Day 1 - Yantarny and Svetlogorsk
The tour starts at 11:00.
Gathering of the group at the Kaliningrad hotel (Leninsky Prospekt, 81).
You will go to the village of Yantarny, the only place on earth where amber has been mined since the time of the Teutonic Knights.
A walk around the city, acquaintance with the village of Yantarny, the place where 90% of the world's amber reserves are concentrated.
You will see the mines where amber was mined.
According to one version, the famous Amber Room was flooded in the Anna mine.
In a small private amber factory, you will have an excursion with a story about the properties of amber, the staff will show amber processing machines on which jewelers make the most beautiful products.
You will also enjoy a magnificent view of the most picturesque beach in the Baltic Sea, which has received the world quality mark "Blue Flag".
Then transfer to the resort town of Svetlogorsk.
The charm of this town cannot be described in words – you need to visit Svetlogorsk to feel the charm of the narrow streets, which have remained almost unchanged since the beginning of the XX century.
A walk along the promenade will refresh you with the sea breeze, a pleasant seascape will remain in the memory of your trip to the Kaliningrad region for a long time.
At the end, return to Kaliningrad at 17:00.

Day 2 - Sightseeing tour of Kaliningrad
The tour starts at 14:00 (it is possible to postpone the start time of the tour to 10:00).
Gathering of the group at the Kaliningrad hotel (Leninsky Prospekt, 81).
The following will be presented to your attention: The Fish Village is an architectural complex stylized according to the architecture of pre–war Konigsberg.
The Royal Gate (external inspection) is one of the seven preserved city gates of Kaliningrad.
The gate is built in a pseudo-Gothic style and looks like a small castle.
You will also see several other structures that make up the 2nd line of defensive structures, built in the middle of the XIX century in the Neo-Gothic style: Brandeburg, Frindland gates.
An external inspection of the Cathedral will complete our tour.

Day 3 - Shadows of old cities
The tour starts at 13:00.
Gathering of the group at the Kaliningrad hotel (Leninsky Prospekt, 81).
Pravdinsk (Friedland): a unique corner of Russia, where the Middle Ages intertwined with the history of the Napoleonic Wars.
A place that can be called a living illustration of the lines of the novel by the great Russian writer Leo Tolstoy "War and Peace".
You will see something that is inaccessible to the mass tourist: a beautifully preserved town with beautiful architecture, narrow medieval streets, a fortress wall from the Middle Ages.
If the weather conditions are good, you will have the opportunity to view the whole city and the surrounding area from the bell tower of the ancient church (XIV century).
Gvardeysk (Tapiau): A walk through the restored center of the ancient German city awaits you.
Also on the list of sightseeing attractions is the Tapiau Castle, founded near the walls of the city in 1280.
To this day, its bulk rises above the coast of Pregel.
Lower reaches (Waldau) tour of the very first Order castle of Waldau (XIII), visit to the museum (entrance tickets to Waldau Castle are paid additionally (200 rubles / person)).

Day 4 - Curonian Spit
The tour starts at 11:00.
Gathering of the group at the Kaliningrad hotel (Leninsky Prospekt, 81).
A trip to a unique place – NP “Curonian Spit”, Nesselbek castle (photo stop at the castle) and Zelenogradsk.
During the tour, you will learn about the processes of Spit formation, about the settlement of the Spit by Prussians, Curonians, about their traditions, beliefs, rituals.
Get acquainted with the life of fishing villages, learn about the human struggle with shifting sands.
Climbing one of the highest dunes in Europe – Efa, you can see the surface of the Curonian Lagoon and the waves of the Baltic Sea at the same time.
A walk through the “Dancing Forest” awaits you – this is still an unsolved natural anomaly.
The trunks of the trees in this forest are bent in the most bizarre way.
Lunch on the way (not included in the price). A little free time is allocated, if possible it is better to take a snack with you.
Zelenogradsk is a walking tour of the city, formerly the royal resort of Krantz.
Getting to know the history of the city and the surrounding area from the time of the Viking settlements to the present day.
Walk along the boardwalk and park.
Sightseeing: St. Adalbert's Church, monument to Zelenograd cats, pump room with mineral water.
If you want to spend more time in Zelenogradsk, you can stay and get back to Kaliningrad on your own (bus, train, taxi). The walk around the city will be short.
At the end, return to Kaliningrad at 19:00.

Day 5 - Free day. Departure
Thursday is a free day if there was a trip to Svetlogorsk — Yantarny on Sunday.
If it is more convenient to make Sunday a free day, an excursion to Svetlogorsk — Yantarny is replaced by Baltiysk — Yantarny on Thursday (the cost of the tour does not change).
The tour starts at 11:00.

After visiting Baltiysk, you can make a mark on your travel map at the westernmost point of our vast country!
Previously a closed city, the largest naval base in Russia - Baltiysk has a rich history.
Walking along the promenade of the city, you can see the monument to Peter I, who visited Baltiysk twice and his daughter Elizabeth Petrovna, who added these lands to the territory of the Russian Empire during her reign.
It is on the beaches of Baltiysk that curious travelers often find pieces of amber.
At the end, return to Kaliningrad at 17:00.
