The Komandorsky State Natural Biosphere Reserve is the largest marine reserve in Russia.It is located on the Commander Islands, the westernmost islands of the Commander-Aleutian Arc.
The largest islands of the archipelago are Medny and Bering. It also includes two small islands – Ariy Kamen and Toporkov. It is bordered by the Pacific Ocean to the south and the Bering Sea to the north.
15:30-20:00 Excursion to the bay "Staraya Gavan".
A walk along the shore of the Bering Sea. Arctic fox watching.
Transfer to the lake. Sarannoye is the largest body of water on Bering Island.
Salmon spawning observation.
Return to the hotel. Supper. Rest.
Meals: breakfast at the hotel, lunch and dinner on the route.
