Getting to know the amazing Kamchatka

On this day, a helicopter and walking tour is planned for you with a visit to unique and fascinating natural places: the Valley of Geysers, the caldera of the Uzon volcano, located on the territory of the Kronotsky State Natural Biosphere Reserve and thermal springs in the Nalychevo Natural Park, as well as a flyby of two volcanoes: Karymsky and Maly Semyachik.

The Valley of Geysers is one of the five largest geyser fields in the world, where you can see amazing geothermal activity that is not found on the entire continent of Eurasia. You will get to know the amazing geysers that spew hot water and steam, creating impressive fountains. You will see how powerful jets of boiling water fly into the air, surrounded by clouds of steam.

Next, during the tour, you will visit the caldera of Uzon volcano. The caldera is a huge bowl—shaped crater formed as a result of the destruction of an ancient volcano. 

The last stop before returning to the city is planned in the Nalychevo Nature Park, where you can swim in equipped fonts with water with medicinal properties, as well as have lunch.

Transfer from the hotel to the heliport is a comfortable minibus. The movement during the tour is carried out by helicopter, the travel time in one direction will be about 1 hour, the distance is 150 km. The duration of the tour with three stops is 6-7 hours. The routes are equipped with boardwalks, which not only protect the soil from erosion, but also serve us for more comfortable movement. After the tour, a transfer will be waiting for you, which will take you to the hotel.

After breakfast, you will have a sightseeing tour of the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. 

You will visit Nikolskaya and Mishennaya hills, get acquainted with the history of the city. 

Let's start from the place where the monument – stele "City of military Glory" is installed, on the shore of Avacha Bay. 

You will be introduced to the history of the founding of the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, founded in 1740, during the Second Kamchatka Expedition, when the Petropavlovsk ostrog was built.

Next, you will have a walk to the landscaped historical site of Nikolskaya Hill, where you will be told about the defense of the city from the superior forces of the Anglo-French squadron. 

After that, you will be transferred to Mishennaya Hill, from where you can enjoy a stunning view of the city against the background of volcanoes. In good visibility from this place, you can count 8 of them!

After the sightseeing tour, you will visit Halaktyrsky beach, where you can enjoy the ocean and walk along the shore. 

You will also have a snack, which will be accompanied by the sound of the surf.

On this day you will visit the extrusion of Mount Camel. There is a possibility of replacement for an additional fee for an ethnographic excursion "Aborigines of Kamchatka".

After breakfast, we set out on our way. 

Along the way, we will drive along a Dry river, see Kamchatka gophers and even be able to feed them with our hands. Our walking part of the tour begins at the foot of the Avacha volcano and offers breathtaking landscapes. You will be able to see graceful meadows covered with flowers and grasses. This place is perfect for walks and photo shoots. 

Camel Mountain is one of the most easily accessible mountain peaks of the Kamchatka Territory, a simple ascent takes about 50 minutes. Amazing and stunning panoramas of the surrounding landscapes open from the top of Mount Camel. You can see the Avachinsky and Koryaksky volcanoes, rocks and bright green meadows. 

Transfer from the hotel to the foot of Mount Camel is an all–terrain vehicle, the duration of the journey by car is 1.5 hours one way, the distance is about 50 km, followed by a simple ascent to the top of Mount Camel, about 1 hour one way (4 km with a climb of 300 m.) The duration of the excursion is 7-8 hours.

On this day, you will have a boat trip to Russian Bay, along the way you will see the Three Brothers Kekura, the island of the Old Men, Cape Kekurny, as well as, if you are lucky, killer whales.

Kamchatka is an amazing place for boat trips and observing the fauna. During the trip you will be able to see a variety of marine life:

During the tour you will be able to see the Three Brothers kekura, fur seals and killer whales, try yourself at sea fishing and taste freshly caught fish and crabs. Upon arrival at Vilyuchinskaya Bay, we will be able to disembark with a unique black sand, which is found only in Kamchatka.

Transfer from the hotel to the seaport is a comfortable minibus, the journey time is 15 minutes. After that, on the boat, you will see the Three Brothers kekura, the sea lion rookery on the island of Starichkov, killer whales – all this on the way to Vilyuchinskaya Bay, where you will land on the beach and have lunch with freshly caught crabs and fish. It is recommended to take motion sickness pills with you. The duration of the tour is 10 hours. 

On this day, rafting on the Bystraya River awaits you. There is a possibility of replacement for an additional fee for a helicopter tour with a visit to the Kuril Lake.

Rafting on the Bystrica River is an exciting adventure that will allow you to enjoy the beauty of nature and feel peace while being alone with nature. Rafting on the river is suitable for the family: safe, exciting and provides comfort for all participants. During the tour, you will plunge into the world of the river, where amazing landscapes and the opportunity to observe wild animal fauna await you. 

During the rafting you will have the opportunity to catch salmon with your own hands. On the way back, you will visit the Malkin thermal springs, where you can swim in the baths with thermal water with healing properties.

Transfer from the hotel to the rafting venue is a comfortable minibus, the journey time in one direction will be 2.5 hours, the distance is 147 km. The duration of the tour is 10 hours.

The seventh day of your Kamchatka tour will pass without scheduled excursions. 

This day will be ideal for recuperating and preparing for upcoming excursions. However, if you are still full of energy and want to get to know the cultural and historical sides of Kamchatka, we suggest that you choose to visit one of the city's museums yourself.

The Kamchatka Regional United Museum is a place where you can plunge into the history of the development of Kamchatka, learn about its indigenous people, their way of life and culture. Here you will find exhibits dedicated to various aspects of life on the peninsula.

The Volcano Museum is a unique museum dedicated to the volcanic activity of Kamchatka. Here you will learn about the volcanoes of the peninsula, see their layouts and learn interesting facts about volcanic processes. The museum's exposition includes a collection of minerals, rock samples and popular science films about volcanoes.

The Oceanrybflot Museum is a museum dedicated to the history of fishing and navigation in Kamchatka. Here you will learn about the development of the fishing industry on the peninsula, about the traditions and peculiarities of navigation in this region. The museum's exposition includes a collection of ancient maps and navigation instruments, as well as models of ships and vessels.

You can also choose from a helicopter tour with a visit to the Kuril Lake and the Ksudach caldera.

After breakfast, a minibus will pick you up and you will drive to the already familiar heliport. Kuril Lake is one of the most picturesque places on the peninsula. 

The journey will begin with an hour-long helicopter flight to the Kuril Lake. During the flight, you will enjoy stunning views of volcanoes. During the tour of the lake, you will see many bears in their natural habitat, observe the spawning of the Lake sockeye salmon and learn about the life cycle of Pacific salmon. The next stop is the caldera of the Ksudach volcano, where you can contemplate the lake located in the ruptured crater of the volcano, as well as look at pumice stone — a volcanic rock that does not sink in water. This is followed by a short flight to the Khodutka hot springs, where you can swim in equipped fonts with water with medicinal properties, as well as have lunch.

The routes are equipped with boardwalks, which not only protect the soil from erosion, but also serve us for more comfortable movement. On this day you will visit the Vilyuchinsky pass, the Small Valley of Geysers and the Calm Waterfall. 

After breakfast, an all-terrain vehicle will pick you up and take you through the Vilyuchinsky pass to the Mutnovskaya geopower, located not far from the Mutnovsky volcano. After moving, you will have a short walk to the Small Valley of Geysers, which resembles the famous Valley of Geysers in its landscapes. 

There you will get acquainted with such a phenomenon as Fumaroles, see crystalline sulfur lying on the surface, and a little later you will be able to swim in the Summer thermal springs, the main thing is not to forget to take bathing accessories. After lunch, you will go in the opposite direction and visit the Calm Waterfall. 

Transfer from the hotel to the gathering place is a comfortable minibus with subsequent transfer to an all–terrain vehicle (jeep, shift KAMAZ), the journey time in one direction will be 2.5 hours with one stop (Vilyuchinsky pass), the distance is 92 km. The duration of the tour is 10 hours.
