Here you will see the whole of Kamchatka in all its diversity: visit the craters of active volcanoes and groves of stone birch, lifeless volcanic slag fields and meadows with flowers and berries, swim in thermal springs and drink real natural narzan.

The well-trodden trail, bridges over rivers, and equipped parking spots make this route attractive even for those who are hiking for the first time, even despite decent day trips (up to 20 km).

Itinerary

Day 1 - Airport – Halaktyrsky beach
Meeting at the airport.
Transfer from the airport with arrival at the monument "Here begins Russia":
flight from Moscow 1730 arriving at 10:00 a.m., flight from Novosibirsk 5249 arriving at 10:20 a.m.;
Flight 1734 from Moscow arriving at 13:10;
Flight 1738 from Moscow arrives at 15:30.
The arrival time of flights can be changed by airlines.
Arrivals at other times can join these transfers.
The cancellation of the transfer is not compensated.
On this day, we will go to Khalaktyrsky beach, where huge waves of the open Pacific Ocean are waiting for us, the black sand of an infinitely long beach, where the feeling that you are on the edge of the earth, where Russia begins, does not leave.
The water in the ocean is not warm, but you can always wet your feet, but the bravest can swim.
Here, in a convenient clearing among the coastal forest tundra, we stay overnight.
Overnight in tents.
At dawn, when the weather is favorable, you can see the sun rising from the horizon of the water surface of the endless ocean.
Dinner on the ocean (lunch, if necessary, on your own at your own expense).
Hiking and camping meals begin in the evening of this day. We cook in the camp kitchen in the order of duty for 2-3 people with the assistance of an instructor guide. It's always hot for breakfast and dinner. Lunch — according to circumstances (during the ascents, definitely a snack, during the day — a hot lunch, during the transitions, most often a snack, but a hot lunch is also possible).
Day 2 - Transfer to the beginning of the walking route. Pacific Ocean — Avachinsky Pass
In the morning, after breakfast, we take an all—terrain bus to the starting point of the walking route - Avachinsky pass.
We set up a tent camp and take a walk to the small Camel mountain.
Overnight in tents.
Day 3 - Climbing the Avachinsky volcano
The ascent follows a well-trodden path and takes 5-7 hours.
The height of the volcano is 2741 m above sea level, the beginning of the trail is at an altitude of 850 m.
In good weather, on the edge of the crater (at the top) There are extensive panoramas of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and Yelizovo, Avacha Bay, Vilyuchinsky, Mutnovsky, and Gorely volcanoes, the Nalychevskaya Valley, and the Dzenzur and Zhupanovsky volcanoes.
The eastern neighbor of Avachi volcano, Kozelsky volcano (2190 m above sea level), is clearly visible.
And throughout the ascent, we are strictly watched by the formidable cone of Avacha's western neighbor and older brother, the Koryak volcano (3456 m above sea level).
In the crater we observe fumaroles (hot volcanic gas and steam outlets), bask in the warm soil and descend to the camp.
Day 4 - Avachinsky Pass — the area of the Koryak narzans
We cross the Avachinsky pass and bypass the Koryaksky volcano from the north.
The path passes through deserted volcanic slag fields with views of glaciers and frozen lava flows of volcanoes.
By evening, the landscape is gradually saturated with life, moving from the volcanic desert to the alpine meadows.
Day 5 - Koryak narzans — Aag narzans
We continue to the Nalychevskaya valley past the Aag and Arik volcanoes, drink the Koryak narzans (natural sources of mineral waters), descend into the valley of the Shumnaya River.

The surrounding nature continues to revive, forgetting about volcanic activity.
Day 6 - Aag Narzan district — Central cordon
We cross the right tributary of the Noisy River, where we observe a powerful waterfall, then we come to the site of the Aag narzans.

Then we descend into the Nalychevskaya valley itself, the path passes through a beautiful park forest of stone birch.

We go out to the Central cordon of Nalychevo, we are accommodated in a multi-bed house.

Day 7 - Day of rest, excursions
Excursions to the travertine shield Cauldron and gryphon Ivanov, visits to the local museum, swimming in Goryacherechenskiye and Zheltorechenskiye springs.

If the weather is good and you want, you can make a short ascent to the nearest peak.
Day 8 - Central Cordon — Talovsky cordon
A short walk towards the Dzenzur volcano (12 km) to the Talovsky cordon.
On the way, we will take an excursion to the Local history sources.
Further along the trail we go to the Talovsk thermal springs, where we set up camp for the next 2 nights.
Bathing in hot springs and therapeutic mud.
Overnight in tents.
Day 9 - Climbing the Dzenzur volcano
The ascent path passes through the very interesting and beautiful Gutter stream, which originates in the crater of the volcano and flows through the frozen lava flows in a channel similar to the water slides of an aquapark.

In the crater we will see a powerful fumarole gushing with a geyser up to a height of 2 meters, and in good weather, magnificent views of the Nalychevskaya valley and the Avacha group of volcanoes.

And from the northern saddle of the crater, there is a view of the valley of the Zhupanova River, the cones of the Zhupanovsky volcano, and the Karymsky volcano.
Day 10 - Talovsky Cordon — Central Cordon
We return to the central cordon of Nalychevo, we are accommodated in a multi-bed house.

Day 11 - Central Cordon — Semyonovsky cordon
On this day we will have to overcome the Pinachevsky pass.

The path passes through the birch forest, passing into the alpine meadows and opening the most beautiful panoramas on the pass.

We descend from the pass and spend the night at the old Perevalny tourist shelter, or at the Semenovsky cordon.
Day 12 - Completion of the walking route. Semenovsky cordon — village Pinachevo — Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky
The day of the end of our hike.
We go down the valley of the Pinachevo River to the village of the same name, where a car meets us.
We move to civilization and settle in a hotel.
Dinner on this day in the city is on your own at your own expense.
Day 13 - Departure
The day of the flight home.
We visit the fish market, souvenir shop and drive to the airport.
Transfer to the airport with arrival at the fish market:
departure is approximately at 8:45 a.m. — for flights 5250 and 1731;
Departure is approximately at 11:45 a.m. for flights 1735 and 1739.
The exact time of the transfer is announced by the guide the day before.
Those departing at other times can join these transfers.
The cancellation of the transfer is not compensated.
Breakfast and, if necessary, lunch — independently at your own expense.

In terms of physical activity, the route is above average among hiking trips in Kamchatka, but given the good trails, bridges over rivers, equipped parking areas, and hot springs, it cannot be called difficult. Day trips with a backpack are 15-20 km each, the total mileage, together with the radiators, is about 140 km. Accommodation on the active part of the route in tents and cabins.

Athletic training is not required, but it is necessary to be in good physical shape, to be able to walk for a long time with a heavy backpack, including uphill, without risk to health.
