Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Petrozavodsk city tour, additional excursions

    Upon arrival of train No. 18, a meeting with the guide at the railway station under the spire from the platform, a sign "Colors of the North".

    Breakfast in a cafe in the city.

    Bus sightseeing tour of Petrozavodsk.

    Walking tour of the unique open-air Museum of Modern Art (sculpture exhibition on the embankment of Lake Onega).

    During the tour, you will get acquainted with the history of the city, as well as its modern appearance. 

    Visit to the shungite center.

    You will get acquainted with the mysterious mineral, you will visit the shungite relaxation room, after which we will treat you to Karelian ivan tea.

    Lunch at a cafe in the city. 

    Accommodation in the selected hotel (standard rooms with amenities). 

    Check-in at the hotels from 15:00.

    Free time, rest.

    During the off-season (with accompanying weather conditions):

    • Husky trekking. A tour of the nursery, a walk with friendly huskies along a prepared trail in a pine forest + a tea party with pastries. The duration, including the transfer from Petrozavodsk, is 3 hours. Children under 6 years old cannot participate in trekking (not to keep dogs). The cost is 3900 rubles/person; children from 6 to 13 years old — 3150 rubles/person. 
    • Quad biking in the countryside with an experienced instructor. The duration, including the transfer from Petrozavodsk, is 3 hours. Cost: 4,600 rubles/person. when boarding 2 people on an ATV, 6100 rubles/person. when boarding 1 person on an ATV.

    In winter (with sufficient snow cover): 

    • Dog sledding as a passenger or on your own through the winter forest 3 km, a tour of the kennel + tea party. The duration, including the transfer from Petrozavodsk, is 3 hours. Cost: adult — 7,600 rubles/person, children under 9 years old — 5,100 rubles/person.
    • Snowmobiling in winter along a prepared forest track. The duration, including the transfer from Petrozavodsk, is 3 hours. Cost: 4800 rubles/person. when boarding 2 people on a snowmobile, 7000 rubles/person. when boarding 1 person on a snowmobile. 

    The price is for the autumn–winter 2023 season.
