Day 1 - Excursion "Legends of the Salmi Strait". Marcial Waters Resort. Kivach Waterfall
Arrival in Petrozavodsk by train No. 018A.
The guide meets you on the platform, at the building with the spire.
Breakfast in the restaurant.
Ecological tour "Legends of the Salmi Strait".
Visit the Church of the Presentation of the Lord, the Botanical Garden of Petrozavodsk University, which is located among rocks and coniferous forests on the slope of a relict volcano.
A visit to the unique natural monument of the legendary rock-throne "Devil's Chair", which offers a stunning panorama of Petrozavodsk and the Petrozavodsk Bay of Lake Onega.
A visit to the unique KARSTONE facility, which manufactures products from the most useful mineral on earth – shungite from the Zazhoginsky deposit.
The homeland of shungite – Zaonezhye is one of the most original places in Karelia and the Russian North.

Departure for a country trip with a visit to the first Russian resort of Marcial Waters.
Visit to the Church of the Apostle Peter, built in 1721 for vacationers of the resort.
It contains chiseled candlesticks made by the hands of Peter the Great, an original iconostasis celebrating the victory of Russian weapons in the Northern War (painting of the first quarter of the XVIII century), carved wooden sculpture and other elements of the temple that have been preserved since Peter the Great.

Day 2 - Valaam Island and Ruskeala Mountain Park
Early rise.
Breakfast is a dry ration.
06:00 Transfer to the Ruskeala Mountain Park.
10:00 Marble Canyon tour.
During this tour you will get acquainted with the unique natural landscapes.
For more than 70 years (until the middle of the nineteenth century), decorative light gray marble was broken out in local quarries to decorate the temples and palaces of St. Petersburg, the fountains of Petrodvorets, the columns of Tsarskoye Selo and Gatchina.
Magical lakes with clear water in a beautiful bowl of Ruskeal marble will make an indelible impression.
12:00-12:30 Transfer to the citySortavala.
Arrival in Sortavala.
13:00 Departure along Lake Ladoga to Valaam Island (50 minutes on the way).
Sightseeing tour of the central estate of the monastery with a visit to the Transfiguration Cathedral, the Assumption Church, chapels, cell buildings, household and hotel buildings.
Lunch in the monastery refectory.
The tour "New Jerusalem".
The center of the "New Jerusalem" is the Resurrection Hermitage, standing on the high Ladoga coast, completely restored and consecrated for its 100th anniversary in 2006.
The lower church of this monastery, which resembles early Christian temples in its decoration, has a semblance of the cave of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem.
From the Resurrection Hermitage, the forest road goes towards the man-made Gethsemane Garden, where among the southern deciduous trees and picturesque lilac bushes there is a small, cozy Gethsemane hermitage with the wooden church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The tour ends on the Mount of Olives, where one of the most poetic views of Ladoga opens from the Chapel of the Ascension of the Lord.
The "New Jerusalem" tour can be replaced by the "Nikolsky Skete" tour.
Return to Sortavala.
Later return to Petrozavodsk.

Day 3 - Rafting on the Shuya River
Breakfast at the hotel.
A small exciting ecological trip to the Karelian forest, where you will find a safe, full of emotions and impressions rafting on the Shuya River.
During the rafting, you will overcome, under the guidance of instructors, three thresholds of the initial category.
Rafting does not require physical training. Impressions and emotions will stay with the participants for a long time!
After the rafting, all participants will have a picnic lunch in the forest by the campfire on the banks of the Shuya River.
Return to Petrozavodsk.
Day 4 - Yukankoski Waterfall. Kinerma Village
Breakfast at the hotel.
Excursion to the highest waterfall of the Northwest "Yukankoski" ("White bridges").
The height of the Yukanokoski reaches 19 meters, which is 8 meters higher than a particularly popular and well–known Karelian landmark - Kivach Waterfall.
Check in at the place of the Tunic, where you can take part in the extraction of the semiprecious almandine garnet stone, a red mineral – just like blackberry juice with a slight violet tint.
This stone, called the "Kidel venisa", is emblazoned in the crown of the Swedish kings.
Each participant of the tour will be able to leave a personally mined semi-precious stone as a keepsake.
Transfer to the historical village of Kinerma.
Kinerma is not a simple abandoned village, but a real unique complex monument of Karel –Livvikov folk wooden architecture.
It was founded about four hundred years ago.
The peculiarity of the Kinerma is that of the 17 houses standing there, 10 are considered architectural monuments.
In 2016, Kinerma was awarded the title of "The most beautiful village in Russia".
We invite you to feel like a resident of this old village and touch the village life!
The program includes:
meeting and acquaintance with the keeper of the "village hearth" Nadezhda Kolmykova;
