In 2 eventful days, we will introduce you to the charming furry friends of the north, teach you how to drive a dog sled, the basic skills of a kayak and guide you along snow-covered trails through the forests of Karelia. 

You will enjoy Karelian nature and silence, enjoy traveling through picturesque places, taste Karelian cuisine at a picnic "with smoke" cooked on a live fire and learn the legends of the north.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Dog sledding trip through the Karelian forest to the forest lake

    Meeting in Petrozavodsk or at the airport.

    Transfer to the Polar Explorer's House (30 km).

    Breakfast in Karelian style.

    Briefing, acquaintance with the instructor, information on the program.

    Safety instructions, equipment selection.

    Getting to know sled dogs.

    Collecting a team.

    Training in team management. 

    A dog sledding trip through the Karelian forest to the forest lake.

    A snack by the campfire at a rest stop while traveling along the route.

    Overnight accommodation in a guest house.

    Summing up the results of the day.

The tour provides accommodation in the village. Sailors in the guest house Polar Explorer's House or in Arctic tents (depends on the route and the wishes of the tour participants).

The cost of the tour for 1 person:

  • adult – 35,600 rubles.;
  • children under 12 years of age – 20,200 rubles. (it is necessary to take into account the complexity of the program, the climate, the individual personal characteristics of the child). If you have questions about the age of the children, you can consult with the manager. 

When traveling with the 1st person in a team, an additional payment to the program is 5,000 rubles / day.

The house has 6 rooms: double, quadruple, the rest are triple, two bathrooms and a shower cabin. 

Usually, guests who do not cook themselves, but prefer to eat from the kitchen, move in here. 

The administration of the tourist complex and the cabin company are located here - a cozy fireplace room with a large TV and Wi-Fi.
