Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Por. Bridge — por. Stairs — por. Kolokoski — pore. The saucer

After meeting at the Petrozavodsk railway station, you will have breakfast in a cafe.

Transfer to the starting point of the rafting (about 170 km on the way).

For those wishing to arrive by private car, there is a paid parking lot in the village of Uuksa (the end point of the route). You need to book a taxi to the starting point (for an additional fee, on your own).

Lunch in the field, preparation of equipment for going out on the river. Before the start, you will receive a safety briefing and pick up equipment: a life jacket, helmet, paddles, and a neoprene suit (for an additional fee).

Catamaran rafting on the Uksa River: port. Pavement (2-3 square meters) – por. Stairs (2 sq.m.) – por. Kolokoski – por. Saucer (3 square meters), 12 km.

The instructor decides whether to pass or carry the thresholds, depending on the overall readiness of the group.

The Uksunjoki River is rapid and therefore very popular among water tourists. The main obstacles are in the lower reaches. They belong to 3-4 difficulty categories.

Dinner and overnight in the field.

  • Day 2 - Por. Salmon — por. Sirnitsankoski — por. Mill
  • Day 3 - The final day of the rafting: por. The mill is a port. Canyon — port. Khramina — shivera Likhaya — P. Uuksa
Difficulty
Only for experienced and physically fit hikers. Requires specific skills and equipment
Tour organizer's comments

A fairly high physical fitness is needed, because catamaran management requires the work of each participant, the thresholds are difficult and everyone takes a lot of physical strength
