You will find out why Petrozavodsk was famous throughout the Russian Empire during the time of Catherine II, take a walk through the cozy center and see how history and modernity successfully combine in the appearance of the city.

Departure to the country interactive program: Welcome to the secret workshop of Grandfather Hull!

A place where the spirit of Christmas hovers, and a forgotten fairy tale comes to life! Here, in the heart of Karelia, in a remote forest, is the Karelian estate of Grandfather Hull, the most hardworking of the Frost brothers. The landlady Inkeri and his helpers, the housekeepers, live with him. The most favorite activity of housewives is telling children fairy tales around the campfire and treating them to delicious marshmallows.

But getting into the estate is not easy. You need to pass the tests: master the skills of skiing – shukshah and tobogganing – smoke. Did you manage? And now – to the workshops! For the youngest guests, a "Housekeeper's School" has been opened, where ryabyat will be taught magic tricks and will test their skills in making New Year's toys.

Meanwhile, the adults will learn the Karelian dance and make a talisman with their own hands, which they will take with them as a souvenir. Well, where's Hull's Grandfather? He watched your efforts and is now waiting for everyone in his office. Remember – the most important and cherished desires can be whispered in his ear!

Don't forget to check Grandfather Hull's mail and send a postcard with the estate's stamp. There is also a wonder shop on the estate where everyone can choose a souvenir.

As a souvenir of the trip, don't forget to order a photo from a local photographer! Well, at the end of a wonderful day, you will be treated to a traditional tea party!
