We will get acquainted with the legendary sled dogs used in expeditions to the North Pole, sledding in the Karelian taiga and cozy evenings by the fireplace. We will try traditional dishes, enjoy the nature of Karelia and spend time in harmony with its picturesque landscapes.

Four days of active recreation among the fabulous forests will give you a unique experience and a feeling of complete unity with nature.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Getting to know the eco-complex. Excursion to the nursery. Dog sledding
Arrival in Petrozavodsk.
The program starts at approximately 08:00.
If you arrive later than the start of the main group, then join on your own at the moment where the group is located in Petrozavodsk. If the group is already in the eco-complex at the time of arrival, it is possible to arrange a transfer for an additional fee (reservation in advance).
Transfer from Petrozavodsk to the eco-complex (30 km from Petrozavodsk — 45 minutes on the way).
Getting to know the eco-complex.
Breakfast.
Excursion to the pearl of the eco-complex — kennel — acquaintance with Arctic expedition sled dogs.
Dog sledding 2 km.
Lunch at the Polar Explorer's House.
Rest time, free time to order additional workshops and seasonal activities (sledding/snowmobiling/pet walking, etc.).
Creative evening.
Dinner by the fireplace in the Polar Explorer's House.

Day 3 - Master classes. Free time. The threshold of the Big Tolly
Breakfast.
Harness knitting workshop.
Rest time, free time to order additional workshops and seasonal activities (sledding/snowmobiling/pet walking, etc.).
Optional — a walk to the threshold of Bolshaya Tolly, the most picturesque threshold in South Shuya.
A master class by the campfire with the preparation of lohikeitto — Karelian ear of red fish on cream + a samovar on cones with gates.
Free time, board games.
Supper.
Day 4 - The Epic of Kalevala tour in Petrozavodsk
Breakfast.
Free time before lunch at the eco-complex.
Lunch at the Polar Explorer's House.
Transfer to Petrozavodsk. If necessary, it is possible to bring things to the luggage room at the railway station (on the way to the museum).
The Kalevala Epic tour (the art museum in Petrozavodsk) is the main epic of Karelia, the philosophy of the Karelian people.
Free time before departure.
If desired, an independent walk around Petrozavodsk, the embankment of Lake Onega and a visit to souvenir shops.
