Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival, trekking with dogs
Meeting in Petrozavodsk or at the airport.
Transfer to the Polar Explorer's House (30 km).
Breakfast.
Briefing, acquaintance with the instructor, information on the program, safety instructions, equipment selection.
Excursion to the kennel of northern sled dogs (3 breeds, 80 pets).
Training in the care and management of dog sleds.
Trekking with dogs.
A picnic is a hot lunch over a campfire.
Training dog riding on the track (radial trips).
A hot dinner at the Polar Explorer's House.
Summing up the results of the day.

Day 2 - A trip to one of the old Karelian villages
Breakfast at the Polar Explorer's House.
Briefing of the day.
Preparation for a dog sledding trip (personal equipment, team building).
Travel along the route for the whole day.
The organizers reserve the right to carry out radial departures due to weather conditions and the condition of the route (river crossings and instability of ice on lakes).
The exact route will be announced at the briefing.
The planned route is to the town of Yumanishki or Pryazhinsky Lake.
Camping, cooking over a campfire.
Lunch with "smoke".
Picnic in the forest.
Accommodation in a guest house.
Summing up the results of the day.
Dinner and tasting of Karelian tinctures.
A wood-burning sauna.

The tour provides accommodation in a guest house or in Arctic tents (depending on the route and the wishes of the tour participants).

The cost of the tour for 1 person:

adult – 50,500 rubles.;
children under 12 years of age – 27,500 rubles (it is necessary to take into account the complexity of the program, the climate, the individual personal characteristics of the child). If you have questions about the age of children, you can consult with the manager.

When traveling with the 1st person in a team, an additional payment to the program is 5,000 rubles / day.

Guest House Polar Explorer's House

The house has 6 rooms: double, quadruple, the rest are triple, two bathrooms and a shower cabin.

Usually, guests who do not cook themselves, but prefer to eat from the kitchen, move in here.

The administration of the tourist complex and the cabin company are located here - a cozy fireplace room with a large TV and Wi-Fi.
