Departure by bus from Petrozavodsk to Ruskeala Mountain Park (~ 4 hours, 260 km distance, self-transfer to the gathering place).
On the way, we will stop at the Akhinkoski waterfalls — the Tokhminsky waterfalls cascade, the place where the movie "And the dawns here are quiet" was shot.
An "eco-trail" has been developed at the waterfalls along the suspension bridges — passage along it is not included in the price.
Upon arrival at Ruskeala Mountain Park, a land tour of the Ruskeala Marble Canyon.
The main attraction of Ruskeala Mountain Park is the Marble Canyon, a monument of industrial culture (mining) of the late XVIII — early XX centuries. There is no such monument in Europe anymore, which is a man-made bowl in a solid array of marbles, cut through by a system of mines, tunnels and tunnels.
Ruskeal marble, the color of white nights, with greenish flashes similar to the northern Lights, was mined to decorate a wide variety of architectural structures, including some stations of the St. Petersburg metro.
Free time in the park, about 2 hours.
Transfer to Sortavala.

A weekend boat trip along the Ladoga Skerries is a great opportunity to forget about the hustle and bustle of the city, be alone with the amazing nature of the North, and enjoy the extraordinary diversity of the natural landscape of the Northern Ladoga region, where sandy and pebble beaches alternate with huge boulders covered with "ram's foreheads" and sheer cliffs, forming landscapes of extraordinary beauty.
The route is circular, passing around the islands of Kivisaari, Laivatsaari, Karnetsaari with a landing on the island of Honkasalo with a visit to the viewpoints of the open Ladoga.
Return to Petrozavodsk (about 4 hours on the way).

Option No. 3. Country tour "Sampo Mountain – Marcial Waters – Girvas Park – Kivach Waterfall" (duration about 8 hours).
Visit to the Sampo mountain. Sampo Mountain in Karelia is considered a place of power and impresses with its beauty. Sampo Mountain is small in height, easy to climb, and the view from the top is amazing.
Transfer to the first Russian resort "Marcial Waters". The main object of the exhibition is the Church of St. Peter the Apostle, an architectural monument of the Peter the Great era. The building was built in 1721 by order of Peter the Great, perhaps even according to his design and drawings.
This church is the only architectural monument preserved from the buildings of the resort of Peter the Great and associated with the stay of the tsar in the region. A unique opportunity to taste the healing water from 3 springs known since the time of Peter the Great.
Visit to the park of the ancient volcano Girvas. Fortunately, the volcano is no longer active, but we can see frozen lava, volcanic rocks and amazing landscapes.

Departure to the Kivach Nature Reserve — the oldest in Russia and the first in Karelia. During the tour of the reserve you will see the most famous waterfall of Karelia — Kivach and the arboretum of the famous Karelian birch.
