Day 1 - Arrival in Petrozavodsk. Sightseeing tour of the city. Rubchoila Ethnic Village
08:00 Meeting at Petrozavodsk railway station.
Welcome to Petrozavodsk, the capital of Karelia. The port of the five seas, located on the shores of Europe's second largest freshwater reservoir, Lake Onega.
A real European city, with a national Karelo-Finnish flavor, the same age as St. Petersburg, cozy, beautiful, with its own unique history. It was founded in 1703 by Peter I, as the city was founded by Catherine II in 1777.

During the city tour of Petrozavodsk, you will learn the history of the streets, buildings, squares and parks of the city, get acquainted with more than three hundred years of the city's history.
You will see the famous architectural ensemble of the Round Square, visit the Governor's Garden, Cathedral Square and the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral.
Take a walk along the famous embankment of Lake Onega, a favorite place for recreation and walks for citizens and guests of the city, located on the shores of the most beautiful Lake Onega.
There is a unique open-air museum on the Onega Embankment. Amazing sculptures — gifts from different cities and countries — that form a unique alley of fantastic images.
Next, we will go to the ethnic village of Rubchoila.
11:00 Transfer to the ethnic village.
Rubchoila is located in the Pryazhinsky district. Karelians have been settling in these places for centuries. Their descendants live here to this day.
Three centuries ago, Rubchoila was a small village of 7 houses, but its population was prosperous. According to statistics, cattle were kept twice as much as in the surrounding villages. The villagers lived very richly, there was even their own tannery, and the chrome boots of the Rubchoil craftsmen were valued far beyond these places.

Day 2 - A trip to Kizhi Island via Zaonezhye
08:00 Breakfast.
08:30 Journey to Kizhi Island via Zaonezhye. You have a unique opportunity to see one of the most picturesque and beautiful places in Karelia — Zaonezhye and visit the pearl of the Russian North — Kizhi Island.
A bus tour from Petrozavodsk to the village of Oyatevshchyna will introduce you to interesting facts from the history of the region, its traditions, nature and notable places of Zaonezhye.
13:00 Arrival in Oyatevshchyna, transfer to the island.
Then, from Oyatevshchyna, you will have a trip to Kizhi Island on a hovercraft "Khivus" or by boat. Upon arrival, you will get acquainted with one of the main visual symbols of Russia — the architectural ensemble of the Kizhi Pogost.
As part of the sightseeing program on Kizhi Island, you will have a sightseeing tour of the main exposition of the island.
13:15-15:00 Kizhi Island tour and free time. Sightseeing tour of the main museum exposition, during which guests will get acquainted with the pearl of Russian wooden architecture — the Kizhi architectural ensemble.
During the tour, you will explore the unique multi—headed temples and iconography of the Church of the Intercession of Kizhi churchyard, enter the house of a Zaonezhsky peasant, learn how and how these people lived, and see the Church of the Resurrection of Lazarus, the oldest in Russia, which was revered as an Orthodox shrine.
16:00-17:00 Late lunch (included in the price).
20:30 Return to the base.

Day 3 - Kivach Waterfall. The ancient volcano Girvas. Marcial Waters resort. Mount Sampo

11:00 Departure for a guided tour of the "Golden Ring of Karelia": Kivach waterfall, ancient volcano Girvas, Mount Sampo and the resort of Marcial Waters.
11:20 Arrival at the reserve. Guided tour of the waterfall observation decks and the Nature Museum.
Kivach belongs to the geomorphological natural monuments of the federal rank. The waterfall was the second largest plain waterfall in Europe (after the Rhine). The water falls in four ledges from a height of 10.7 m.

12:20 p.m. We continue to the Girvas paleovolcano.
13:20 The ancient volcano Girvas is a unique natural object in its beauty. Just imagine — he lived more than one and a half billion years ago. There are frozen lava, rocks, sand dunes, and dense pine forests. If you are lucky, you will get to the water outlet from the reservoir and see an amazing sight — the Girvas waterfall.
14:00 The next stop is the Marcial Waters resort. It was discovered by Peter the Great himself in 1719. Springs with healing water saturated with iron gush out of the ground here.
We will see an old wooden church from the time of Peter, pavilions built for the arrival of high-ranking people, and, of course, taste the water from four wells.
15:00 We're moving on.
15:30 Sampo Mountain. This is a small hill with an observation deck and a view of Lake Konchozero below.
We will walk along the equipped trail to the guide's stories about the legends of Karelia and the famous epic "Kalevala", and we will also make a wish by tying ribbons on a magical tree.
16:30 Transfer to Petrozavodsk.
17:30 Arrival in the city at the railway station.

The tour provides accommodation at the Shishki recreation center (Standard room).

The two-storey hotel room includes: a separate entrance, a vestibule for shoes and outerwear, a bedroom, a living room with a dining area, a bathroom with a shower.

The cost of the tour for 1 person with double occupancy is 56,500 rubles/person.

The Shishki recreation center is located at a distance from large settlements, among the pine forest, which was carefully preserved by us during construction, on the shore of Lake Sundozero, which is part of the Suna River system.

The capital of Karelia, Petrozavodsk— is 70 kilometers away.

The recreation center hotel was commissioned in 2011 and consists of 10 comfortable rooms with all amenities.

Each room has a separate entrance from the street, its own porch, a vestibule with underfloor heating for outerwear and outdoor shoes, an entrance hall, a bathroom equipped with a shower cabin, a spacious living room, a kitchenette and a loft bedroom.

The living room is equipped with an LCD TV, a DVD player, a coffee table and a folding sofa, which can comfortably be used as additional seats for two more people.

The living room window offers a panoramic view of Lake Sundozero.

The kitchenette in the room is equipped with a full-fledged refrigerator with a freezer, a microwave, an electric kettle and a dining table with four seats. The bedroom has either a double bed (5 rooms) or two single beds (5 rooms), bedside tables, wardrobe.

Considering that half of the rooms are equipped with double beds and half with twin beds, we kindly ask you to pay attention to this when booking.
