  • Day 1 - Arrival, the Kalevala Universe exhibition and a sightseeing tour of Petrozavodsk

    For groups from St. Petersburg - arrival at 07:00 by train No. 12. Tourists are waiting for the arrival of train No. 018.

    Breakfast in the restaurant. 

    Visit to the Kalevala Universe exhibition at the Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Karelia. 

    "Kalevala" is truly a national treasure. The epic had a huge impact on the development of the Karelian and Finnish languages, literature, culture, and national identity of the two peoples. 

    At the new exhibition, the viewer will have an immersive journey along the path to the rune forest with the sounds of kantele, immersion in the theme of the birth of the world and acquaintance with the characters.

    The unusual installation "Pike" will reveal the secrets of folk life, share a brewing recipe and allow you to inhale the aromas of Kalevala, and the waters of the Tuonela River will take guests beyond the familiar world!

    Sightseeing tour of Petrozavodsk (the architectural ensemble of the Round Square, the Governor's Garden, Theater Square, the embankment of Lake Onega with the world's only open-air museum of modern avant-garde sculpture).
