The Uksa River (also called Uksun, Uksunjoki, Uuksu) in Karelia is a river of adrenaline, drive and emotions. 

An extreme tour of it is a passage of waterfall-type thresholds of 2-5 difficulty categories, which will deliver a lot of adrenaline and charge with emotions for many years to come! 

For groups of 12 people or more, it is possible to conduct a tour on any date.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Gathering of the group in Petrozavodsk, casting and the beginning of the rafting

    07:50 Meeting of the group at the Petrozavodsk railway station.  

    Transfer to the beginning of the route: bridge over the Uksa River, 170 km.

    Lunch. 

    Acquaintance. 

    Delivery and preparation of equipment for going out on the water. 

    The briefing.

    Rafting on the Uksa River: por. Pavement (2-3 k.sl.) — por. Stairs (2 rooms) — por. Kolokoski — pore. Saucer (3 square meters), 11 km.

    Dinner and overnight in the field.

  • equipment rental (rafts, catamarans, paddles, helmets, life jackets, hermetic bags, campfire equipment);
  • personal equipment (tent, mat — at the request of the tourist), inform the manager at the time of booking what equipment you need;
  • transportation services;
  • 3 meals a day;
  • the work of an instructor;
  • hiking bath and lunch at the end of the route (not in all tours,
    check with the manager for information).

Paid extra

  • air and railway tickets to Petrozavodsk and back;
  • single accommodation in a tent — 1,000 rubles/tour;
  • sleeping bag — 500 rubles/tour;
  • rent a wetsuit (2.5 mm) — 500 rubles/day/person (check with the manager and book at least 10 days before the start of the rafting);
  • travel insurance.

It's important to know

Personal equipment you need for the tour

A set of clothes for the alloy:

  • Sneakers/sandals (closed toes and fixed heel) or neoprene boots;
  • Shorts;
  • Thermal underwear;
  • Water-repellent pants and jacket (neoprene wetsuit);
  • Raincoat; 
  • Headdress (cap, bandana, panama hat);
  • Sunglasses;
  • Gloves.

 A replacement set of clothes after the alloy:

  • Sneakers/boots;
  • Rubber boots (optional);
  • Socks;
  • Lingerie;
  • T-shirt;
  • Long Sleeve Shirt;
  • Sweater;
  • Tight pants (jeans);
  • The jacket is warm.

 A set of clothes for sleeping:

  • Thermal underwear;
  • Socks made of natural materials;
  • Wool Socks;
  • Sports pants;
  • Sweater;
  • Sports hat (optional);
  • Lingerie.

Additionally take:

  • Toiletries and bath accessories;
  • Swimsuit, swimming trunks;
  • Ointment or insect spray;
  • Sun cream;
  • KLMN - Mug, spoon, bowl, knife;
  • Personal hygiene items; 
  • Needle, thread;
  • Matches and a lighter in a bag;
  • Replacement contact lenses/glasses;
  • Lantern; 
  • Camera and batteries for it;
  • Personal equipment (tent, sleeping bag, mat). If you don't have your own equipment, you can rent it. We recommend taking a personal sleeping bag for hygiene reasons;
  • Documents in sealed packaging: passport, medical insurance policy;
  • Personal first aid kit (medications that you take all the time). The instructor will have a first-aid kit with basic medicines.
