Day 1 - Departure of the train from St. Petersburg

10:00 Sightseeing tour "Vologda carved, oil, lace"—this is an immersion into the legendary past and present of the provincial capital, acquaintance with the historical center of the city, ancient white-stone cathedrals and temples, the majestic complex of the Vologda Kremlin, the picturesque embankment of the Vologda River, ensembles of wooden mansions with "carved palisades".
12:00 Visit to the Lace Museum with a guided tour of the exposition dedicated to the history of the development of the traditional Vologda craft "Lace in peasant costume and ethnographic textiles".
Free time in the city center for an independent lunch.
15:00 A visit to the architectural and ethnographic museum Semenkovo (12 km) will begin with a guided tour of the restored village of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, with a tour of peasant huts and an introduction to the origins of life, culture and spirituality of the Slavs of the Russian North.

17:00 Excursion to the Spaso-Prilutsky Monastery, one of the most famous, largest and most revered Orthodox monasteries in the Russian North. It is located on the northern outskirts of Vologda, in the former village of Priluki, which is now an urban neighborhood.
18:30 Visit to the shop under the brand "Real Vologda product", where you can buy the famous Vologda butter, dairy products, sweets, alcoholic products from Northern berries and other Vologda souvenirs.

Day 3 - Solvychegodsk or Veliky Ustyug to choose from
On the third day, we offer a choice of 2 programs: A visit to Solvychegodsk or Veliky Ustyug.

11:15 Walking sightseeing tour "What's the Point?"
You will get acquainted with the architecture of this ancient city. Taste the water from the salt spring and enjoy the grandeur of the current Vvedensky Cathedral, built in the Stroganov Baroque style and a unique iconostasis of the 17th century. You will learn the history of Russian merchants and patrons of the Stroganov family.

14:45 Excursion to the House of merchants Khaminov.
15:30 Visit the complex of the Annunciation Cathedral (1560-1584) and museum exhibitions with unique products of Stroganov gold embroidery and Stroganov icon painting, visit the exhibition "Artistic heritage of ancient Solvychegodsk".

11:30 Excursion to Veliky Ustyug on the Sukhona river. A city tour of the museum-reserve with an inspection and a visit to the white–stone temples, a visit to the Cathedral Courtyard and the current Cathedral of St. Prokopius the Righteous, an inspection of architectural monuments of the XVII - XX centuries.
13:00 Lunch at a cafe in Veliky Ustyug.
14:00 Visit to the Trinity-Gledensky Monastery, the founding site of Veliky Ustyug and Dymkovskaya Sloboda (only in summer).
The main attraction of the monastery is the magnificent carved gilded iconostasis of the Trinity Cathedral, one of the most beautiful in Russia. Its construction lasted eight years (from 1776 to 1784) on donations from Ustyug residents.
16:00 Guided tour of the exhibition Hall of the Severnaya Rabble factory with the opportunity to see unique products of old masters, including the legendary dining set based on Pushkin's fairy tales, which won a Large Gold Medal at the World Exhibition in Paris in 1937, as well as modern products, winners of International and Russian jewelry competitions.
Visit to the branded jewelry store and other souvenir shops.
18:00 Transfer to Kotlas.

Day 4 - Yaroslavl
12:20 Arrival in Yaroslavl.

13:30 Sightseeing tour of Yaroslavl: we will visit Red Square, Strelka, the confluence of the Volga and Kotorosli rivers, where Yaroslavl was founded, and learn the legend of the founding of the city. You will have the opportunity to stroll along the Volga Embankment, a favorite vacation spot for citizens and guests of the city, and take photos in the famous Myakushkin gazebo, popularly called the gazebo of love and friendship. Here, on the embankment, you will see the house where General Tuchkov spent his last days, who became the prototype of Prince Andrei Bolkonsky in the novel "War and Peace", and you will hear the story of the appearance of the well-known Borodino bread.
Free time in the city center on Strelka (approximately 2 hours).

20:00 Transfer to Yaroslavl railway station.
20:44 Departure to St. Petersburg by train No. 045.
Day 5 - The end of the tour. Return to St. Petersburg

Air and railway tickets are not included in the price of the tour. You can purchase them yourself or contact us for help.

It is impossible to know in advance whether passengers can board and disembark at non-fixed stops, upon arrival at which the tour service is provided (there may be parking on the train, but boarding/disembarking may not be allowed. There are various reasons for this. For example, the length of the platform does not allow, the train is on the sidings, and there is basically no platform.). The tour operator is not responsible for boarding and disembarking passengers when the train stops without sightseeing services.
Tourists can join the tourist route at any part of it, where there is a train parking with an excursion day service. But without recalculating the cost of the tour in terms of railway transportation. Since a cruise train ticket is issued from the start point of the tour to the end point of the tour, there will be no recalculation of the cost of railway travel in this case. For sightseeing days when tourists will not be present on excursions, we will recalculate the cost.
In a 4-seater compartment for two people, top+bottom accommodation is provided. Placement on the two lower shelves is possible only in a 2-seater compartment or a ST.
The purchase of the fourth seat in the compartment is optional, accommodation with check-in is possible.
Tours on the territory of the Russian Federation do not imply the presence of a notarized consent from one of the parents / legal representative for the child's trip accompanied by a third party. However, we recommend a handwritten consent from one of the parents / legal representatives to make a decision if medical care is needed for the child + a copy of the first page and the page with the registration of the parent / legal representative giving the handwritten consent.
Smoking is prohibited on the train (both electronic and plain cigarettes; a fine of 1,500 to 2,500 rubles). You can smoke in the train parking lots, if possible, get off the train in smoking areas specially designated on the platforms.
The tour operator issues railway tickets according to the tariff without transportation of animals (for group railway transportation of tourists, this tariff is not possible for registration). In addition, it is not allowed to enter the tour bus with animals (there may be allergies in the group). Pets are also not allowed to enter the museums.
