Itinerary

Day 1 - Yachting on Ladoga. Gravlax Master Class
Meeting at the Sortavala train station.
After meeting at the train station, you will have breakfast in a cafe.
You will have a short transfer to the pier on the shore of Lake Ladoga, from where you will go by motor boats to the island located in the very center of the Ladoga skerries.
Arrival at glamping.
You will be accommodated in geo—domes, get acquainted with the glamping area, and exciting yachting training is ahead.
You will listen to the introductory lecture "The basics of yachting", and after that you will practice practicing the basic maneuvers: raising and adjusting sails, turns, mooring.
Everyone will have the opportunity to stand behind the wheel, work with ropes.
The group is divided into teams of 6-7 people, the first two teams go to conquer Ladoga on yachts, the rest of the participants will have a culinary master class on cooking gravlax (lightly salted trout in the Scandinavian style).
In ancient times, the locals ate almost only fish and buried it in the ground for storage. Hence the name gravlax — "buried" salmon. You will try to cook gravlax in a modern way.
After lunch at glamping, the teams switch places.
Those who have not tried yachting yet go on a water route. And those who have already mastered the basics of yachting will try their hand at gastronomy.
At the autumn race, yachting can be replaced according to weather conditions.
In the evening, you will have dinner with dishes of Karelian cuisine.
You will spend the night in cozy hemispherical tents surrounded by a pine forest.

Day 2 - Rock climbing and the route on SUP boards
In the morning, breakfast will be organized for you at the glamping.
Rock climbing. After breakfast, you will go to the Giant's Sword Rock, a 30—meter high rock with an interesting relief.
As a result of ancient tectonic faults, part of the rock broke off and froze forever next to the main massif in the form of a huge sword.
Accompanied by experienced instructors, you will go through several rock routes prepared for you.

We provide participants with helmets, gloves, and climbing equipment.
Lunch will be organized for you at the glamping.
The route is on SUP boards.
After lunch, you will receive a briefing on the management of SUP boards and you will go on the route. Everyone, without exception, learns the basics of rowing.
The route (2-3 hours) is selected based on the weather and wind direction, accompanied by a motor boat.
After the route, if desired and for an additional fee, you can order a furako bath right on the shore of Ladoga or a session in a Russian bath.
A delicious dinner from the chef is waiting for you.
In the evening, you can play a quiz about Karelia, board games or sing guitar songs around a large campfire on the glamping grounds.

Day 3 - Ladoga skerries and picnic
In the morning, breakfast will be organized for you at the glamping.
The route on motor boats along the Ladoga skerries.
After breakfast, you will go on motor boats along the Ladoga skerries.
The duration of the boat trip will be 4-5 hours.
Ladoga Skerries is a picturesque archipelago in the north of Lake Ladoga, consisting of many small rocky islands.
One of the striking features of the Ladoga skerries is the so—called "reef mountains".
Reef mountains are called mountains that break off into the lake with sheer cliffs, the height of which can reach 80 meters.
You will climb to the observation points of the Ladoga skerries with panoramic views of the vast expanses of Ladoga and the Valaam Archipelago (in good weather).
You will see one of the most significant peaks — the city of Riuttavuori, the view from which was captured on a Finnish 500 mark banknote in the 19th century.
Climb the Aino mountain, which offers a magnificent panorama of the skerries and open Ladoga. You will also see the capes of Honkasalo Island, the picturesque "instagram" narrow straits of skerries.
A hot lunch in nature will be organized on the route.
After returning to glamping, you will have free time, you can rent fishing rods and go fishing, walk around the island or just relax with a book on the veranda.
In the evening, you will have dinner with dishes of Karelian cuisine.

Day 4 - Kayaking on Ristijarvi Lake
In the morning, breakfast will be organized for you at the glamping.
You will go to Ristijarvi Lake (40 minutes on the way), where you will try your hand at kayaking.
Initially, a kayak was a vessel of the northern peoples for hunting and traveling by sea. Feel like a real Northerner.

Before going on the route, you will receive detailed instructions on safety and kayaking rules.
A picnic lunch is waiting for you.
After lunch, you will go to Sortavala (30 minutes on the way).
You will have free time to walk around the city, have an independent dinner (extra charge) or buy souvenirs before the evening train to Moscow.
Return tickets must be purchased for train No. 160A departing from Sortavala at 20:37 on the final day of the tour.

The tour includes accommodation in the Lago Ladoga dome glamping. It is located in the most picturesque place of the Ladoga skerries — on the island of Havus, surrounded by a pine forest.

The surcharge for single accommodation in a tent is 20,000 rubles/person.

For children under 12 years old, as well as for the third person in the tent, when placing in an additional sleeping place upstairs, we provide a 10% discount. Discounts are not cumulative.
