Itinerary

Day 1 - Quad biking through the taiga forests
Meeting at the Sortavala train station. After meeting at the train station, you will have breakfast in a cafe and a short transfer to the starting point of the ATV route awaits you.
The quad route.
You will listen to a safety briefing and change into mud-proof overalls. An exciting 3-4-hour quad route through the Karelian taiga awaits you (double occupancy on an ATV, category B license is required for drivers).

The route is of medium difficulty, it is desirable for drivers to have experience driving an ATV in off-road conditions.
On the route, you will have a snack with hot tea in nature.
Next, the route will pass through abandoned Finnish villages, past ancient watermills, through protected Karelian forests. The culmination of the route will be a visit to the beautiful lake Vakhvayarvi and an abandoned marble quarry.
Transfer to the island.
After a busy day, you will reach the pier on the shore of Lake Ladoga, from where you will be transferred by aero or motor boats (depending on the weather) to the island located in the very center of the Ladoga skerries.
Arrival at glamping.
You will stay in the geo-domes and have dinner with Karelian cuisine.
You will spend the night in cozy hemispherical tents surrounded by a pine forest.

Day 2 - Havus Island route and picnic in the forest
In the morning, a Karelian-style breakfast will be served at the glamping.
The route along the forest trail.
Accompanied by a guide, you will set off on a route (about 3 km) along a forest nature trail (duration 4.5-5 hours, with lunch).
You will see geological rocks that can be called the "ridge of the Earth": a glacier passing through the territory of Ladoga exposed very ancient stone outcrops, whose age reaches 2.5 billion years.

Along the route, you will learn many interesting facts about the local places: about Finnish families and the history of the Northern Ladoga region, about the peculiarities of forest species, about the animals that live here.
Lunch in nature.
In the middle of the route you will have lunch in nature. Instructors will smoke fresh Ladoga trout for you and treat you to the famous Karelian gate pies.
The culmination of the route will be an exit to the Haukkariutta rock (fin. "falcon reef"). From a height of more than 40 meters, you will have a wonderful view of the Ladoga skerries.
Return to glamping.
After returning to glamping, if desired and for an additional fee, you can order a furako bath right on the shore of Ladoga or a session in a Russian bath.
A delicious dinner from the chef and a Karelian evening are waiting for you. You will be told about the traditions and customs of Karelia, you will try your hand at solving Karelian riddles or take a quiz on the history of these places.

Day 3 - A walk along the Ladoga skerries
In the morning, breakfast will be organized for you at the glamping.
The route along the Ladoga skerries.
You will go on a circular route by aero or motor boat along the Ladoga skerries (depending on the weather). The duration of the boat trip will be 3-4 hours.

Ladoga Skerries is a picturesque archipelago in the north of Lake Ladoga, consisting of many small rocky islands.
One of the striking features of the Ladoga skerries is the so—called "reef mountains".
Reef mountains are called mountains that break off into the lake with sheer cliffs, the height of which can reach 80 meters.
Observation decks.
You will see the most picturesque places of the surrounding islands — the capes of Honkasalo Island, which are called "Ladoga fjords", reef mountain Aino, Chapaev Straits. The route provides landings and ascents to observation decks, which offer spectacular views of the panorama of the skerry district and open Ladoga.
Return to glamping.
You will have a delicious lunch and rest.

For an additional fee, you can order a floating in the Bay of Ladoga skerries! Unforgettable sensations and unique photos are waiting for you (to be ordered in advance, for groups from 3 to 6 people, the cost is 6,000 rubles / person).
In good weather, you will spend the evening after dinner around a large communal campfire, share your impressions, roast marshmallows, drink strong tea with Karelian herbs, play games or sing songs to the guitar.

Day 4 - Farewell to Ladoga and an excursion to the Ruskeala Mountain Park
In the morning, breakfast will be organized for you at the glamping.
You will have free time: you can get a good night's sleep in nature, take a walk to the neighboring bay, explore the rocks (including a pomegranate vein passing nearby), ride SUP boards on the lake (for an additional fee.payment, in good weather) or watch a movie about Ladoga.
You will have a farewell lunch in glamping and departure to the Ruskeala Mountain Park.
Ruskeala Mountain Park.
A guided ground tour will be organized for you and you will have free time to walk around the park.

Ruskeala marble quarry is a monument of cultural heritage of Russia. Development began here in 1765. The walls of the famous St. Isaac's Cathedral, Ladozhskaya and Primorskaya metro stations in St. Petersburg are decorated with Ruskeal marble.
You will travel back to Sortavala on the unique Ruskeala Express.
This is a steam-powered tourist retro train plying along the route of the overland road, along which Ruskeala marble was delivered to Lake Ladoga.
The interior of the train is decorated in the style of the interior of the carriage on which Auguste Montferrand, the chief architect of St. Isaac's Cathedral in St. Petersburg, came to Ruskeala.
You will arrive at Sortavala station about an hour before the departure of the evening train to Moscow and will be able to have dinner in a cafe (extra charge).
Return tickets must be purchased for train No. 160A departing from Sortavala at 20:37 on the final day of the tour.

The tour includes accommodation in the Lago Ladoga dome glamping. It is located in the most picturesque place of the Ladoga skerries — on the island of Havus, surrounded by a pine forest.

The surcharge for single accommodation in a tent is 20,000 rubles.

For children under 12 years old, as well as for the third person in the tent, when placing in an additional sleeping place upstairs, we provide a 10% discount. Discounts are not cumulative.
