Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Quad biking through the taiga forests

    Meeting at the Sortavala train station. After meeting at the train station, you will have breakfast in a cafe and a short transfer to the starting point of the ATV route awaits you.

    You will listen to a safety briefing and change into mud-proof overalls. An exciting 3-4-hour quad route through the Karelian taiga awaits you (double occupancy on an ATV, category B license is required for drivers).

    The route is of medium difficulty, it is desirable for drivers to have experience driving an ATV in off-road conditions.

    On the route, you will have a snack with hot tea in nature.

    Next, the route will pass through abandoned Finnish villages, past ancient watermills, through protected Karelian forests. The culmination of the route will be a visit to the beautiful lake Vakhvayarvi and an abandoned marble quarry.

    Transfer to the island.

    After a busy day, you will reach the pier on the shore of Lake Ladoga, from where you will be transferred by aero or motor boats (depending on the weather) to the island located in the very center of the Ladoga skerries.

    Arrival at glamping.

    You will stay in the geo-domes and have dinner with Karelian cuisine.
    You will spend the night in cozy hemispherical tents surrounded by a pine forest.

The tour includes accommodation in the Lago Ladoga dome glamping. It is located in the most picturesque place of the Ladoga skerries — on the island of Havus, surrounded by a pine forest.

The surcharge for single accommodation in a tent is 20,000 rubles.

For children under 12 years old, as well as for the third person in the tent, when placing in an additional sleeping place upstairs, we provide a 10% discount. Discounts are not cumulative.

Lago Ladoga Dome glamping 3 nights

Year-round glamping in the Republic of Karelia on Havus Island. Accommodation in comfortable geo-domes in Ladoga skerries.

Personal equipment you need for the tour

Personal belongings and equipment:

  • backpack or travel bag;
  • an individual first aid kit;
  • personal hygiene products;
  • change of underwear;
  • bathing accessories and slates (for visiting the furako baths).

Clothing and shoes:

  • comfortable sportswear for outdoor walks (according to the weather);
  • 2 pairs of shoes: trekking boots / rubber boots + sneakers / lightweight replacement boots;
  • waterproof and windproof clothing / raincoats made of dense materials for traveling on the lake;
