Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival, sightseeing tour of Petrozavodsk
Arrival in Petrozavodsk.
Meeting with the guide at a pre-agreed place.
Departure for a sightseeing tour of Petrozavodsk.
During the city tour of Petrozavodsk, you will learn the history of streets, buildings, squares and parks of the city, get acquainted with more than three hundred years of history of the capital.
You will see the famous architectural ensemble of the Round Square, visit the Governor's Garden, Cathedral Square and the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral.
Take a walk along the famous embankment of Lake Onega, the most beautiful place in the city.

Day 2 - Excursion program in the Ruskeala Mountain Park
Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure for the excursion program to the Ruskeala Mountain Park.
The Ruskeala Mountain Park is the only comprehensive monument to the nature and history of mining in Russia and Finland, located in South Karelia.
Excursion in the mountain park.
After the tour, you will have free time. In the mountain park there is an opportunity to rent a boat and ride in the canyon.
Also in the park there is an opportunity to "tickle" the nerves on extreme rides (jumping off a cliff, flying through a canyon on a tightrope).
On the way back, we will visit the beautiful Akhvenkoski waterfall, translated from Finnish as "Perch threshold". The bathing scene of one of the heroines of the film "And the dawns are quiet here" was filmed at this waterfall.
On the way, visit the memorial "Poklonny Krest", established in memory of the participants of the Winter War of 1939-1940.

Day 3 - Sightseeing trip to Kizhi Island, departure

Departure for an excursion trip to Kizhi Island.
Kizhi is an island on Lake Onega in Karelia, where the world—famous architectural ensemble of the Kizhi churchyard, consisting of two churches and a bell tower, is located.
On the basis of this architectural ensemble, the Kizhi State Historical and Architectural Museum was founded, where a large number of chapels, houses and outbuildings from Zaonezhye and other regions of Karelia were brought.
The Kizhi Pogost was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, the architectural collection of the open-air museum is included in the State Code of Especially valuable objects of cultural Heritage of the peoples of Russia.
Return to Petrozavodsk. Completion of the program.
