It's important to know

Do I need to bring skirts/scarves to visit temples and monasteries?

This trip is connected with a visit to the Solovetsky Monastery. During excursions, you should follow the rules of behavior adopted in existing monasteries, and it is also advisable to have an appropriate form of clothing (for women: closed shoulders and neckline, skirt, headdress; for men: trousers or shorts covering the knees). HOWEVER, you can always use shawls and skirts, which are issued directly on the territory of monasteries.
