Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Rafting on the Yanisjoki River and Mount Paaso

    Meeting at the Sortavala train station.

    After meeting at the train station, you will have breakfast in a cafe and a transfer awaits you to the beginning of the route on the Yanisjoki River.

    Ahead is the selection of equipment, instruction and a busy water route. During the rafting you will overcome several thresholds of the 2nd and 3rd difficulty categories, see Finnish hydroelectric power plants and picturesque canyons (the length of the rafting is 4-6 km, 2-3 hours).

    After the end of the rafting, there will be a picnic lunch.

    In the afternoon, you will have a walk on Mount Paaso, an ancient settlement where the Karelians lived in the 12th and 13th centuries.

    In the evening, you will reach the pier and take motorboats to Havus Island, located in the very center of the Ladoga skerries (15-20 minutes on the way).

    Arrival at glamping.

    You will stay in the geo-domes and have dinner with Karelian cuisine.

    You will spend the night in cozy hemispherical tents surrounded by a pine forest.

    Due to weather conditions, the days may change places in the program.

The tour includes accommodation in the Lago Ladoga dome glamping. It is located in the most picturesque place of the Ladoga skerries — on the island of Havus, surrounded by a pine forest.

The surcharge for single accommodation in a tent is 30,000 rubles.

For children under 12 years old, as well as for the third person in the tent, when placing in an additional sleeping place upstairs, we provide a 10% discount. Discounts are not cumulative.

Personal equipment you need for the tour

Personal belongings and equipment:

  • documents in sealed packaging: passport, medical policy;
  • backpack or travel bag;
  • sunglasses and sunscreen and after sunburn;
  • an individual first aid kit;
  • personal hygiene products;
  • bathing accessories and slates (for visiting the furako baths);
  • change of underwear.

Clothing and shoes:

  • comfortable sportswear for outdoor walks (according to the weather);
  • 2 pairs of shoes: trekking boots / rubber boots + sneakers / lightweight;
  • replacement shoes (sandals in hot weather);
  • waterproof and windproof clothes for traveling on the lake;
  • headdress (cap, panama hat, sports hat);
  • sweatpants made of quick-drying fabric;
