Meeting at the Sortavala train station.
After meeting at the train station, you will have breakfast in a cafe and go to the beginning of the route on the Yanisjoki River.
Ahead is the selection of equipment, instruction and a busy water route. During the rafting you will overcome several thresholds of the 2nd and 3rd difficulty categories, see Finnish hydroelectric power plants and picturesque canyons (the length of the rafting is 4-6 km, 2-3 hours).
After the end of the rafting, you will have a picnic lunch.
In the afternoon, you will have a walk on Mount Paaso, an ancient settlement where the Karelians lived in the 12th and 13th centuries.
In the evening, you will reach the pier on the shore of Lake Ladoga, from where you will be transferred by motor boats to the island located in the very center of the Ladoga skerries.
You will stay in the geo-domes and have dinner with Karelian cuisine.
You will spend the night in cozy hemispherical tents surrounded by a pine forest.
