Itinerary

Day 1 - A tour of Petrozavodsk. Kindasovo village
Arrival in Petrozavodsk by morning trains.
The meeting at the train station is before 10:00, but we recommend arriving before 08:00 in order to catch the program from the very beginning.
The group gathers at the main entrance to the railway station, where you will be met by a guide.
For those arriving by night trains — transfer to the hotel and early check-in. Please provide the train number and arrival time when booking the tour.
08:00-09:00 Breakfast in the restaurant.
09:00–11:00 Getting to know the capital of Karelia is a sightseeing tour "From the history of Petrozavodsk".
You will find an interesting immersion in the history of the city from the reign of Peter the Great to the present day.
You will walk along the beautiful old squares and avenues, take a lot of photos at art objects and monuments in the open-air museum on the famous Onega Embankment.
11:30-13:00 Interactive entertainment program in the Karelian village of Kindasovo.
Here you will hear for the first time how the beautiful Karelian language and music sounds on the fabulous Karelian instrument — the kantel. You will see a real watermill and learn the secrets of the mill business.
You will be amused by local traditions, tales and games, and fragrant tea with local pastries will beautifully and deliciously complete this unusual immersion in the Karelian flavor.
14:00 Return to Petrozavodsk and accommodation in a 3* hotel.

Day 2 - Karjala Park: forest, river, gates, huskies
Breakfast.
11:00 Departure to the Karjala Park tourist complex.
11:30 a.m. A master class on cooking wickets under the guidance of a chef.
Surely you have already heard about one of the business cards of Karelia — gates. Today we will try to cook them with our own hands.
You will learn how to prepare the dough, filling and properly "pinch" the gates. And upon returning home, you will be able to surprise your friends and family with a recipe and skills brought from Karelia.
12:30 Excursion to the husky kennel.
One of the best husky kennels in Karelia is located here in Karjala Park. Each kennel dog is not only with its own external features, but also with its own character.
You will hear an interesting story from a cabin instructor about each inhabitant of the kennel, learn the history of the breed, the features of breeding and maintenance.
13:30 Lunch with elements of Karelian cuisine in an ethnic plague.
15:30 Return to Petrozavodsk.
On request, for an additional fee, riding ATVs or snowmobiles (according to the season and technical capabilities) along the forest highway along the Shuya River. The cost is from 1,700 rubles/person. Please specify the details when booking.

Day 3 - The resort "Marcial waters". The Kivach Nature Reserve. Shungite Center
07:00-09:00 Room release after breakfast. You will have a busy day in nature.
09:00-11:00 Short drive to the north and the first stop is the resort "Marcial waters".
This is the first Russian resort, which was founded by Peter the Great on the basis of ferruginous mineral springs. In the middle of the last century, a museum dedicated to the history of the resort was opened.
You will visit the Church of St. Peter the Apostle of the VIII century, the caretaker's house with a unique historical exposition and taste the water from three healing springs.
11:00-13:00 Drive to the Kivach Nature Reserve. The magical natural fusion of water and stone impresses everyone who comes here to touch the elements.
You will have the opportunity to admire the waterfall and take great photos from three viewing platforms.
During a tour of the cozy Nature Museum located in the reserve, you will learn about the historical past of the waterfall, consider the exposition of the animal and plant world of the area.
In the protected arboretum, in addition to other unique trees, you will see the famous Karelian birch. And you will also have the opportunity to walk among the ancient trees and enjoy the purity of the Karelian air
13:30-14:30 Lunch at the cafe.
15:30-16:30 On the way back to Petrozavodsk, we will stop at the Shungite Center.
Shungite is a unique mineral that is mined in Karelia. You will learn about its properties, see the stone processing process, and after tea you will be able to buy souvenirs.
17:00 Transfer to the railway station.
