Itinerary

  • Day 1 - A tour of Petrozavodsk. Kindasovo village

    Arrival in Petrozavodsk by morning trains. 

    The meeting at the train station is before 10:00, but we recommend arriving before 08:00 in order to catch the program from the very beginning. 

    The group gathers at the main entrance to the railway station, where you will be met by a guide.

    For those arriving by night trains — transfer to the hotel and early check-in. Please provide the train number and arrival time when booking the tour.

    08:00-09:00 Breakfast in the restaurant.

    09:00–11:00 Getting to know the capital of Karelia is a sightseeing tour "From the history of Petrozavodsk"

    You will find an interesting immersion in the history of the city from the reign of Peter the Great to the present day. 

    You will walk along the beautiful old squares and avenues, take a lot of photos at art objects and monuments in the open-air museum on the famous Onega Embankment.

    11:30-13:00 Interactive entertainment program in the Karelian village of Kindasovo. 

    Here you will hear for the first time how the beautiful Karelian language and music sounds on the fabulous Karelian instrument — the kantel. You will see a real watermill and learn the secrets of the mill business. 

    You will be amused by local traditions, tales and games, and fragrant tea with local pastries will beautifully and deliciously complete this unusual immersion in the Karelian flavor.

    14:00 Return to Petrozavodsk and accommodation in a 3* hotel.
