Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Khabarovsk — Nikolaevsk-on-Amur — Wrangel Bay

    The journey begins in Khabarovsk, where you need to arrive on your own.

    You must arrive in Khabarovsk the day before the start of the program.

    The meeting of the group takes place at the agreed time at the airport. Nevelsky in Khabarovsk. You need to get to the airport on your own.

    After meeting with the group at Khabarovsk airport, there will be a flight on an Aurora or Khabarovsk Airlines plane to Nikolaevsk-on-Amur, flight time 1 hour 35 minutes.

    Next, the group will be met by a motor vehicle, which will take us to Cape Perovsky (about 3 hours on the way) on a gravel forest road.

    From Cape Perovsky by catamaran, you will travel to Wrangel Bay, depending on the sea conditions, the passage will take from 4 hours to 7 hours.

    Late arrival, check-in at the campsite for two people in one tent with separate rooms, briefing, acquaintance with the base, staff, dinner.

    Please note! The arrival time directly depends on the flight schedule. In case of late arrival of the aircraft, an overnight stay will be arranged in Nikolaevsk-on-Amur.

    The weather is an unpredictable factor and may actually differ from the forecast. The company is not responsible for the weather and the actual sea conditions, as it cannot influence them.

Personal equipment you need for the tour

To move to the sea:

  • warm hat (synthetic fleece) – 1 pc.;
  • buff, balaclava – 1 pc.;
  • storm (moisture-proof) clothing: (jumpsuit / jacket and pants) – 1 pc.;
  • thermal socks or insulated socks – 2 pairs;
  • waterproof gloves (rubberized on top, fleece on the inside) – 1 pair;
  • shoes with warm insoles – 1 pair;
  • medium-length rubber boots (needed for boarding and disembarking the boat). They must be without spikes. There are wading boots on the base and boats (the number of sizes is limited) – 1 pair;
  • DRYBAG type air bag (waterproof bag for all things)/waterproof bag/suitcase case – 1 pc.

For light trekking and camping:

  • trekking pants – 1 pc.;
  • lightweight jacket (preferably GORE-TEX with a hood in case of rain) – 1 pc.;
  • hiking gloves (fleece) – 1 pair;
  • underwear (T–shirt, T-shirt, underwear, socks, etc.) - required quantity;
  • thermal underwear (of varying degrees of warmth, so that you can choose the best option for each type of application) – 2 sets;
  • fleece jacket – 1 pc.;
  • baseball cap, light cap, panama hat. kerchief, bandana – 1 pc.;
  • replaceable shoes for traveling on excursions, in parking lots and overnight stays (trekking boots/ sneakers with a rigid back for fixing the foot under different loads) – 1 pair;
  • lightweight shoes for camping and going to the sauna: sneakers or, for example, crocs – 1 pair;
  • sleeping bag (comfort limit is minus 5). If there are not enough clothes for your head, stock up on a pillow (an airplane inflatable horseshoe pillow will do) - 1 piece each.;
  • bathing accessories – 1 pc.;
  • bath and hygiene supplies (camping towel, toothpaste, brush, wet wipes, lipstick, soap, shampoo, etc.) – required quantity;
  • flashlight (head–mounted or hand-held) - 1 pc.;
  • spare batteries for the flashlight – 1 set;
  • hob (to sit harmlessly on rocks, logs, etc.) – 1 pc.;
  • a lightweight trekking backpack (if you are not a photographer) to pack the necessary small items (a bottle of water, a thermos, insulated clothes, etc.) – 1 pc.

For photographic equipment:

  • waterproof backpack or camera bag – 1 pc.;
  • lightweight DRYBAG for the boat, so as not to put the camera in the backpack every time during sea crossings – 1 pc.

Other necessary personal equipment:

  • a personal first–aid kit (motion sickness remedy, painkiller, etc.) is a mandatory attribute – the required amount;
  • sunglasses – 1 pc.;
  • sunscreen from 30 SPF – 1 pc.;
  • hermetic packaging for documents – 1 pc.;
  • water bottle/thermos 0.5 l. – 1 pc.;
  • Powerbank (check the rules of carriage with the airline, usually allowed without problems with a capacity of up to 20,000 mAh) – 1 pc.;
