Getting to know the great rivers of Siberia. The main one is the Yenisei Father. According to an ancient legend, the Yenisei has two beauties. One of them is very ferocious, capricious, wayward, the Lower Tunguska is called, and judging by its character, the "Sullen River". The second beauty is the beautiful Angara. She is the naughty daughter of Baikal, who ran away from her strict father to her beloved Yenisei.

On our journey, we will meet the ancient cities on the Yenisei – Krasnoyarsk and Yeniseisk, the village of Turukhansk – the confluence of the Lower Tunguska with the Yenisei. You will have an exciting adventure on a boat along the "Ugryum River" and the disclosure of its main secret, a boat trip along the Yenisei and the knowledge of life on the big water, the legend of the famous legend of the Angara and Yenisei and the place of their fateful meeting.

Day 1 - Krasnoyarsk city tour
Meeting in the lobby of the Krasnoyarsk hotel (Krasnoyarsk, Uritskogo str. 94) at 09:30.
Bus and pedestrian sightseeing tour of the city of Krasnoyarsk - the largest industrial and cultural center of Eastern Siberia, the capital of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the second largest subject of Russia.
It is located in the very center of Russia on the interfluve of the small river Kachi and the great Yenisei.
Founded in 1628 by Cossacks under the command of voivode Andrei Dubensky, the prison was originally called "Krasny Yar".
Krasnoyarsk received the status of a city in 1690.
In 1822, the city became the center of the Yenisei province.

Excursion to the observation deck of the Krasnoyarsk HPP – the first HPP on the Yenisei River, located 40 km from Krasnoyarsk.
It was built in 1972 and in terms of installed capacity (6,000 MW) ranks seventh in the world and second in Russia, after Sayano-Shushenskaya.
On the way back, stop at the embankment of the city of Divnogorsk.
Divnogorsk, like Krasnoyarsk, is located on the Yenisei.
It is one of the largest and most abundant rivers in Russia and the world.
The Yenisei flows through Siberia from south to north, connecting three regions – the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Tyva and Khakassia.
The name of the river in the Evenk language sounds like "Ionessi", but translates simply as "Big Water".
About 500 significant rivers flow into the Yenisei, the total length of which is more than 300,000 kilometers.

Day 2 - Excursion to the Krasnoyarsk Pillars National Park

The natural boundaries of the protected area are the right tributaries of the river. Yenisei: in the northeast is the Bazaiha River, in the south and southwest are the Mana and Bolshaya Sluznevka Rivers.
From the northeast, the territory borders with the city of Krasnoyarsk.
It was founded in 1925 on the initiative of the residents of the city to preserve the natural complexes around the picturesque syenite remnants - "pillars".
Currently, its area is 48,066 hectares.
The main attraction of the park are the rocks.
The name "Pillars" is common to all rocks, although all rocks and even some stones have their own names.
There are directly "Pillars" - rocks open to tourists, and "Wild pillars" - rocks located deep in the park, access to which is limited.

Day 3 - Departure to Turukhansk

12:00 Transfer to Krasnoyarsk International Airport named after D. A. Hvorostovsky – one of the most important air transport hubs in Siberia and the Far East, a strategic transit hub in air traffic between Europe and Asia.
It was put into operation on October 25, 1980.
Since 1993, it has the status of an international one.
Departure to Turukhansk.
Arrival in Turukhansk at 18:25.
Transfer to the Turukhansk hotel, double accommodation at the hotel.

Day 4 - Departure along the Lower Tunguska River by boat

Departure along the Lower Tunguska River – the second of the main tributaries of the Yenisei.
In the 17th century, Russian explorers named the river Nizhnyaya Tunguska.
The river originates on the eastern slopes of the Angarsk ridge in the Irkutsk region.
Its length is about three thousand kilometers.
In its upper reaches, the Lower Tunguska comes close to the Lena riverbed, but a small elevation does not allow them to meet and connect.
On its way, it overcomes several rapids in order to eventually, gathering the power of large tributaries, and near the city of Turukhansk, give its waters to the mighty Yenisei.
There are many legends about Nizhny Tunguska, moreover, she is the main character of Vyacheslav Shishkov's novel "The Gloomy River".
In 1911, Vyacheslav Yakovlevich, a famous Russian writer, a researcher of Siberian rivers, traveled through Nizhny Tunguska, after which the novel of the same name was born, which vividly reflects its special features and uniqueness.
We will climb the famous rock – cliff of Lower Tunguska and contemplate the fascinating views from above.
There are many legends about the cliff, as well as about the river.
The local places open up to all travelers in a very mysterious and mysterious way.
Next, we will admire the beautiful cascading waterfall, near which the Cinnabar appeared in the novel "The Gloomy River".
This is the spirit of the Tunguska shaman.
There is a belief that sometimes nowadays she goes out to look at her guests, lead them to interesting thoughts, give answers to the questions of existence.
We will examine and capture the Strelnikovsky Mountains – those very steep cliffs through which the Surly River made its way to the Yenisei.

Day 5 - Sightseeing tour of Turukhansk

Sightseeing tour of Turukhansk.
Turukhansk is located at the confluence of the Lower Tunguska with the Yenisei, 1,474 km north of Krasnoyarsk. Founded in 1607 as a winter quarters, since 1619 it has been inhabited by settlers of the burnt-out city of Mangazeya.
In the 19th and 20th centuries, it was a place of exile (including I. V. Stalin in 1914-1916).

Excursion to the Museum of Local Lore of Turukhansky district.
Excursion to the Holy Trinity Turukhansky Monastery - the monastery of the Norilsk and Turukhansk diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church in Turukhansk, founded in the second half of the XVII century.
This example of the creativity of the masters of the Yenisei school of Siberian Baroque is the northernmost stone structure in Siberia with a unique planning solution and a peculiar decorative decoration.
Now it is a reviving and functioning monastery, an object of pilgrimage for Orthodox (and not only from Russia) who come to venerate the holy relics of the martyr Vasily Mangazey Wonderworker.
Transfer to the pier.
Boarding the scheduled passenger ship "A. Matrosov"/"V. Chkalov", accommodation in 2-bed cabins of the first class (in the cabin there are 2 soft sofas, a wardrobe, a washbasin).
The ship departs at 19:00.

We pass the village of Kostino, founded in 1810 by S. M. Chalkin, an exiled settler of the Minusinsk district.
In 1913, Joseph Stalin was exiled in the village, who was later transferred to the left bank of the Yenisei, to the village of Kureika.

Day 6 - Cruise on the ship

Passage of the village of Verkhneimbatsk – the first settlement on the site of the village was founded by Cossacks back in 1607.

Stop on the water near the village of Bakhta.
The first mention of Bakhta dates back to 1608, when a winter quarters were laid at the mouth of the Bakhta River.
The settlement was founded in 1745, the first settler was Sav Andronov.
The village was inhabited by runaway Russians, serfs and Old Believers.

Day 7 - Cruise on the ship
Stop at the village of Bor, located on the left bank of the Yenisei, 3 km below the mouth of the Podkamennaya Tunguska River.
The modern history of the village began in 1946, immediately after the Great Patriotic War, with the construction of an airport on the left, high and steep bank of the Yenisei, opposite the mouth of the Podkamennaya Tunguska River.
The dual-use airport was a strategic transport center, located almost exactly in the center of the USSR and Russia.
The border of the Central Siberian Reserve is located from the village of Bor at a distance of 60 km, where the first strong point, the Koms cordon, is located.
The administration of the Central Siberian Biosphere Reserve is located in the village of Bor.
The passage of the Osinovskaya system, which contains many legends and mysteries of the past, then the rocky islands of Korablik and Barochka suddenly appear in front of us as if from a haze, behind them the mighty Yenisei enters the Osinovsky cheeks – the most picturesque area in the lower reaches of the river.
The high granite banks form a corridor with a height of 50 m.

The village of Vorogovo stop was founded more than 350 years ago during the development of Siberia in the 17th century by the Cossacks.
The population is represented by different nationalities: Russians, Germans, Ukrainians, Belarusians, Keto.
Now it has about 2,000 thousand people, local residents organize markets with a wide variety of goods and souvenirs of local craftsmen at the pier by the arrival of the ship.

Day 8 - Yeniseisk. The Plane Museum. A campsite on the banks of the river. Yenisei

Sightseeing walking tour of Yeniseisk – located on the Yenisei plain, on the left bank of the Yenisei, below the confluence of the Angara river, 330 km north of Krasnoyarsk.
The city of Yeniseisk is called an "open-air museum", the urban development includes 94 architectural monuments.
The complex of the Transfiguration Monastery and four churches are unique examples of Siberian Baroque, built in the middle and second half of the XVIII century. They are close to the Russian temples of the previous century in terms of planning and spatial structure and picturesque decor.
The stone civil buildings of Yeniseisk are mainly two–storey houses along the main street, on the embankment and central squares.

Day 9 - Karaulny Island. Departure to Krasnoyarsk
Breakfast.
Departure to Karaulny Island, acquaintance with the main tributary of the Yenisei – the beautiful Angara.
The origin of the Angara is connected with the nature of the morphology of the river valley at its source, which resembles a cleft, a gorge through which the Angara breaks out of Lake Baikal.
The name "Angara" was first mentioned in the XIII century.
The Evenks had the name of the Hangar, which translates as "clean".
The name came from these roots.
There are many beautiful legends about the beautiful Angara, the only daughter of the old man of Lake Baikal, and the mighty handsome Yenisei.
Baikal was against their wedding, following his fleeing daughter, he abandoned the palace, which was supposed to be her wedding gift.
The palace fell apart into many fragments, they became the Strelkov threshold, and the largest stone is the Guard Island.
Nothing could stop the wayward daughter on the way to the Yenisei: neither the ferocious rapids, nor the scattering of stones, nor the cliffs that stood in the way of the fugitive.

In addition to tourists, there are also ordinary passengers on the ship. There are no entertainment facilities other than those provided by the program (there is no swimming pool, sauna, cinema, etc.).

Meals on the ship, as well as on the entire route, are complex (portioned), ordered and paid in advance.

Stops according to the ship's schedule, but in case of a delay of the ship or vice versa, if the ship goes faster than the schedule, then parking can be reduced or increased.

The passenger capacity is 260 people. The cabins of the ship are divided into 3 classes and cabins of the Luxury category. The Luxury cabins are located on the boat deck. Class 1 and 2 cabins are located on the boat and middle decks. They are equipped with soft beds and washbasins with hot and cold water. Class 3 cabins are located on the main and lower decks.

The motor ship "Alexander Sailors"

The three-deck motor ship 588 of the project. It was built in Germany in 1954, entered the Yenisei in the same year, and has been operating on the Krasnoyarsk-Dudinka, Norilsk-Dudinka-Krasnoyarsk line since 1954. The speed is 23 km/h, the passenger capacity is 250 people.
