Itinerary

Day 1 - Getting to know Ergaki Park. Medvezhye Lake
In the morning, we will meet all participants at the railway station in Abakan (at 07:30) and at the airport (who arrives at 08:20).
The general departure of the bus is at 09:00. There will be a stop for breakfast on the way to Ergaki.
By 12:00 we arrive in Ergaki and begin the transition to the camping camp. The distance to the camp is about 6 km, the travel time is 2.5–3 hours at a steady pace.
Upon arrival, check into the campsite, explore the area and relax.
On the territory of the camp: full-height tents on pallets, mattresses, sleeping bags, electricity, sauna, toilet and access to a drinking stream.
After the rest, an excursion to Lake Medvezhye. This is one of the warmest and most recognizable Ergakov lakes, offering views of the Ptitsa and Zvezdny rocks. There will be time for walking, taking photos and swimming (optional).
In the evening, a group will meet around a campfire and a sauna with swimming in a mountain stream.
Day 2 - Transfer to Lake. Artists, Ptitsa Pass
The real part of the route starts today.
All the extra things stay at the campsite, and we only take with us what we need for an overnight stay on the lake. Artists and trekking, as well as part of the public cargo: food, gas and camping equipment.
The weight of the backpack for the transition is approximate: men 23-25 kg., women 14-17 kg. (the actual weight depends on the composition of the group and the distribution of equipment).
After collecting, we begin the ascent to one of the most impressive viewing points of the entire natural park — the Bird Pass (2,050 m).
There are views of the Parabola, the Dragon's Tooth, the lake of Mountain Spirits and the whole amphitheater of rocks — the place for which people return to Ergaki.
This is followed by a descent to the Lake of Artists.
The total travel time from point A to point B is 6-7 hours, with stops in the most photogenic locations.
Upon arrival at the lake, we set up a bivouac, cook dinner and relax surrounded by large mountain walls, Parabola rocks and the silence of the highlands.
Day 3 - Malachite baths, climbing the cliff. The parabola
The day may change places from Day 4 depending on the weather.
We make the third day easier and more restorative after a long march. But the weather in the mountains changes quickly, so day 3 and 4 can be rearranged to choose the optimal window for climbing the Dragon's Tooth — the main goal of the entire route.
If the weather permits, today we perform radial exits without backpacks.
Malachite baths. Walk to the natural alpine bowls with clear glacial water. Here you can swim, relax, recover from the transition and take photos in one of the most atmospheric places in the area.
Climbing the Parabola (Fat Brother). An easy climb that suits all participants. At the top, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the valley and the surrounding cliffs — a great warm-up for the upcoming Dragon's Tooth climbing day.
After returning to the camp, lunch, rest and recovery.
We spend the rest of the day quietly: looking for beautiful spots for photos, walking around the lake of Artists, maintaining a bivouac, enjoying the nature of the highlands and silence.
Day 4 - Climbing the Dragon's Tooth
Today is the key day of the entire program. We are climbing the main peak of the area, the legendary Dragon's Tooth, from where the most powerful views of the entire Ergaki Nature Park open.
The route is light, which allows you to comfortably walk all the way and get the most out of climbing.
Route characteristics:
Climb: about 900 meters;
Duration: 8 hours round trip;
Format: radial output;
Difficulty: requires attention and accuracy.
The peculiarity of the trail is the kurum fields (stone placers), along which you need to move at an average pace. The guide will explain the technique of passage and will monitor the safety of the group.

Day 5 - Reserve day / hike to Lake Chernoe
A day can serve as a spare day for climbing the Dragon's Tooth.
The program provides for a full—fledged reserve day - this is a mandatory practice for Ergaks. The weather in the mountains changes dramatically, and rain, fog, or heavy clouds can make climbing the Dragon's Tooth unsafe.
If the weather has allowed and all the key locations have already been passed, then today we are going to one of the most atmospheric and little—known places in the area - Lake Cherny. This is a real gift for those who appreciate secluded, quiet locations without crowds of tourists.
Features of Lake Cherny:
The crystal water, through which the underwater rocks are visible, creates a watercolor effect.;
The water is clean and surprisingly tasty — many people take it with them.;
picturesque shores surrounded by cedar forests and stone "sides";
On the way, we pass by the Malachite Baths again — a great place to relax and take photos.
Route characteristics:
Distance: about 16 km
Duration: 7-8 hours
Route type: radial
Level: Medium (suitable for a group with good basic endurance).
It's a calm, meditative day: enjoying nature, taking lots of photos, tasting water from mountain streams and being filled with the atmosphere of taiga silence.
Day 6 - Return to the campsite. Lake Svetloye
Today we are returning to the campsite by the same route that we went up — through the Bird Pass. The journey is getting easier: backpacks have noticeably become lighter, food has been used, and the body has adapted to the height and load.
On the way we make a stop at Lake Svetly, one of the most iconic spots of Ergak. There are strong views of the cliffs from here, and the water gives the effect of a "mirror".
The photos here are as expressive as possible — they are most often used in their publications, as a business card of Ergaki Park.
After the photo break, we continue on our way to the campsite. The day turns out to be eventful, but at the same time balanced: you return with vivid views, the feeling of a completed route and a well-deserved evening in the warm atmosphere of the camp.
Day 7 - Return to Abakan
Today we are completing the route and going down from the camp to the highway the same way we went up at the beginning of the tour. The distance is about 6 km, and the estimated travel time is 2-2.5 hours at a comfortable pace.
A pre-ordered transport awaits us on the highway, which will take the group to Abakan. The journey takes about 3-4 hours, taking into account possible stops.
Important! It is recommended to take railway tickets after 18:00 local time in order to safely board and complete the trip without haste.

An exciting hike packed with memorable experiences and plenty of photos! We were welcomed wonderfully, almost like at a restaurant. The camp was cozy and well-equipped, complete with a sauna and even a guitar, making the evenings lively and musical! :) The guides and porters were a fun and cheerful group—though they occasionally lost the trail, which just added an extra bit of ‘adventure’ to the experience :D And don’t underestimate the weight of the backpacks and food—by the time you’re crossing a pass with nearly 20 kg on your back, it’s no joke!!! :) But everyone pushed through, survived, and discovered their own strength!!
