Itinerary

Day 1 - Check-in and departure
Independent arrival of tourists at the beginning of the tour in Moscow, Severny Rechnoy vokzal, Leningradskoe shosse 51.
14:00 Check-in begins 2 hours before departure.
Tourists register on board the ship on their own. After registration, you will be given a key to your cabin, an invitation to the restaurant (the number of the table assigned to you), an excursion booking form (to be filled out on the first day of the cruise).
Entertainment program.
An entertainment and information program will be waiting for you every day on board the ship (information about events is provided daily).
16:00 Departure of the ship.
Accommodation in a cabin of the selected "Comfort Premium" category.
Cabin service (included in the price):
Cabin cleaning – 1 time a day, in the morning.
Change of bed linen – 1 time in 5 days (within the cruise longer than 7 days)
Towels are changed once every 2 days.
Bottled water in the cabin (0.5 liters /person), daily replenishment.

Every day you will find a rich entertainment program for adults and children – board and team games, interactive show programs, thematic workshops, dance lessons, concerts and musical evenings, creative meetings, talks and lectures, films and cartoons, children's animation - young travelers are entertained by a professional team of animators.
Free Wi-Fi is also provided on board (subject to technical availability) and all conditions are created so that you take care of your health and always stay in shape: morning exercises, fitness programs of varying degrees of intensity designed for any level of training, sports equipment, sauna, herbal tea and oxygen cocktail.
Meals on board the ship:
Three meals a day at the restaurant with a choice of vegetarian and low-calorie dishes are already included in the price of your cruise. Breakfast is served in a buffet format, lunch and dinner are organized according to a customized menu.
Custom menu: two options for appetizers and the first, and three options for the main hot dish and desserts.
For dinner, a light broth is served as the first hot dish.
Tea, coffee, water (cooler) – without restrictions.
Children's menu – for lunch and dinner.
For dinner, there is an additional 1 alcoholic / non–alcoholic drink, to choose from: juice, juice, wine (white or red), a mug of beer, a glass of vodka.

Day 2 - Uglich
Breakfast, lunch and dinner (included in the price).
15:00-17:30 Uglich (parking 2 hours 30 minutes).
The city of Uglich, founded in 1148, has a rare beauty and tragic history. It is located in a place where the Volga makes a sharp bend, forming a peculiar angle (from which, presumably, it got its name).
The architectural complex of the Uglich Kremlin is located in the historical center of Uglich, including the Chambers of the appanage princes, the building of the former City Duma, the Transfiguration Cathedral, the bell tower and the church of Tsarevich Dimitri on blood.
At the end of the 16th century, Maria Nagaya, the seventh wife of Ivan the Terrible, lived in honorable exile in the Kremlin in Uglich. Here, while walking through the garden, Tsarevich Dmitry met his death. Later, at the end of the 17th century, a church was built here to commemorate this tragedy.
Uglich is included in the tourist routes of the "Golden Ring" of Russia. Today, the city is known for its unique watch models, mineral water, cheese and chocolate.

Option 1: Walking tour of the city.
The route runs through the Assumption Shopping square to the territory of the Historical and Art Museum, where tourists will visit the Church of Tsarevich Dimitri "on the blood" (interior), the Transfiguration Cathedral (interior).
Tour duration: 2 hours.
Option 2: Visit the museum of the Uglichskaya HPP.
The tour will take place if the parking time allows.
Day 3 - Goritsy
Breakfast, lunch and dinner (included in the price).
13:00-16:00 Goritsy (parking 3 hours 00 min.).
With the opening of the Volga-Baltic Canal, this place became known to thousands of people thanks to the ensemble of the Goritsky Voskresensky Convent (1544).
In the small village of Goritsy, located on the shore of the Sheksna River, 8 km from the town of Kirillov, there is a river pier, from where a bus tour to the Kirillo-Belozersky monastery (1397) begins. The way to the main attraction of Kirillov runs through the unique national park "Russian North".
On its territory is Mount Maura, on top of which lies a huge stone. According to legend, the indentation on this stone is the footprint of St. Peter. Kirill Belozersky, the founder of the monastery.
The monastery was visited by Russian tsars and noble boyars with rich gifts. It was here that Ivan the Terrible's father came to pray for the heir.

Option 1: Excursion to the Kirillo-Belozersky Monastery.
You will see the architectural ensemble of the Kirillo-Belozersky Monastery and visit the State Chamber. Guided tour of the monastery.
Tour duration: 2 hours.
Option 2: Tour of Kirillov "Pages of the history of a provincial town".
The tour begins at the Vologda Tower of the Kirillo-Belozersky Monastery, which offers a panoramic view of the monastery walls and Lake Siverskoye. The group visits the city's Lime Park in 1867, moves to Gostinodvorskaya Street, which is decorated with the houses of local merchants.
You will get acquainted with the main functioning parish church of the city – the Kazan Cathedral of the 18th and 19th centuries. Before leaving for the pier, there is free time to go out to the lake, visit the monastery, local shops, etc.
Tour duration: 2 hours.

Day 4 - Kizhi
Breakfast, lunch and dinner (included in the price).
17:00-20:30 Kizhi (parking 3 hours 30 minutes).
Kizhi is the most fabulous and unusual island of the Russian North, located in one of the largest lakes in Europe, Lake Onega, 68 km from Petrozavodsk, the capital of Karelia. The Kizhi State Historical, Architectural and Ethnographic Museum-Reserve is located on the island of the same name and adjacent islands, the collection of which includes chapels, peasant houses, many outbuildings (barns, rigas, baths) and other buildings.
The foundation of the museum-reserve is the world–famous architectural ensemble of the Kizhi Pogost, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The heart of the architectural ensemble is the grandiose and majestic 22-domed Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord, built, according to legend, without a single nail by the local architect Nestor in 1714. According to legend, after the construction, Nestor threw his axe into the waters of Lake Onega and said: "There has never been such a church before and there will never be again!"

Day 5 - Mandrogs
Breakfast, lunch and dinner (included in the price).
12:00-17:30 Mandrogi (Russian national village) (parking 5 hours 30 minutes).
Russian Russian cruise ships make a "green parking lot" here, during which you can independently combine a rich program of outdoor activities with a pleasant pastime in the ancient interiors of a village tavern or hut, visit the wonderful Museum of Russian Vodka, visit a Craft settlement and get acquainted with traditional Russian crafts.

Day 6 - Valaam

08:00-20:00 Valaam (parking 12 hours).
The island, whose name means "high, mountainous land" in Finnish, is the largest in the Valaam Archipelago. The lush vegetation, as well as the vast water area of Lake Ladoga around create the impression of a paradise. However, for all the beauty of nature on the island, guests are primarily interested in its historical and cultural heritage, namely one of the oldest monasteries in Russia, the Valaam Monastery of the Transfiguration of the Saviour, whose complex includes temples, monasteries and chapels.
Every year thousands of tourists and pilgrims visit Valaam to experience the unique Orthodox culture of the Russian North.

Option 1: Excursion "The Hermitages of Valaam".
Three Valaam Hermitages Walking Tour: Voskresensky, Gethsemane and Konevsky, a unique architectural and landscape design that forms the famous "Valaam Palestine". The tour ends at the monastery farm, which has been supplying dairy products to the monastery since the end of the 19th century. A special place in the tour is given to getting acquainted with the unique natural complex of the Valaam archipelago, its flora and fauna.
Duration of the tour: 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Option 2: The Central Manor tour.
A sightseeing walking tour of the central estate of the Spaso-Preobrazhensky Monastery begins from the pier of the Monastery Bay, from where the monastery, located on a high cliff, looks especially beautiful. Along Mount Tabor, past the Znamenskaya Chapel, the road leads to the Holy Gates of the monastery, through which guests enter the monastery square, the architectural ensemble of which was formed from the end of the XVIII to the beginning of the XX century. It includes the Church of Peter and Paul, the Assumption Refectory Church, the church of the Icon of the Mother of God "Life-giving Spring", the church of the Valaam Icon of the Mother of God, cell buildings and outbuildings.
A special place during the tour is given to visiting the main functioning church of the monastery, the Transfiguration Cathedral, where the relics of the holy founders of the monastery, St. Sergius and Herman the Wonderworkers of Valaam, rest.
If the ship is parked for less than 7 hours, the cost of the boat to the Central Estate and back is paid additionally.

Day 7 - St. Petersburg, St. Isaac's Cathedral, Carl Faberge Museum

08:00 Arrival in St. Petersburg (release of cabins). Meeting with the guide at the pier.

Bus tour of St. Petersburg.
It is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. You will see the prospects of St. Petersburg streets, the majestic expanse of the Neva River, dressed in granite embankments, bends of rivers and canals, facades of luxurious palaces, flying spans of bridges and airy patterns of fences.
Excursion to St. Isaac's Cathedral.
You will visit the largest church in St. Petersburg, which was built over 40 years, learn about the art of the first half of the XIX century and famous people who built the cathedral.
Excursion to the Carl Faberge Museum in the Shuvalov Palace with tasting of the signature dessert "Faberge Egg".
Following the principle of the great master, the real wonders of jewelry art are hidden behind the modest facades of the Shuvalov Palace. The museum has an unparalleled collection of Russian jewelry and decorative and applied arts of the XIX-XX centuries. The most valuable and famous items in the museum's collection are 9 imperial Easter eggs created by Carl Gustav Faberge.

Day 8 - Tsarskoye Selo
Breakfast at the hotel. Room release.
Bus tour to Tsarskoye Selo "Under the shadow of Tsarskoye Selo gardens".
It is possible to replace the tour with an equivalent museum.
Excursion to the Catherine Palace with the famous Amber Room and Catherine Park – a magnificent work of Russian landscape art of the XVIII-XIX centuries.
Transfer to the railway station of St. Petersburg.
After 18:00-19:00, the approximate end time of the program.

Many thanks to “Big Country” for this wonderful tour. The entire trip was organized exceptionally well: the hotels, meals, and transportation were all excellent. But the real highlight of the journey was our tour guide, Denis!!! Honestly, without him the trip would not have been nearly as memorable. Visiting so many churches and historical sites without meaningful context would have quickly become monotonous. Most of the local guides simply rushed through the program with dry facts and dates, almost like a school lecture. Denis, however, made everything come alive. Even before we arrived at each destination, he was already sharing fascinating stories and background information on the bus, which helped us appreciate the places so much more once we got there. Not a single person was late for the bus in the mornings! Everyone was eager not to miss his stories!!! He has an incredible knowledge of the history and geography of the region, and he could make even the scenery outside the window interesting!!! Listening to him never felt tiring because he spoke with such enthusiasm and passion!!! For the last two days we had a different guide, and the contrast was huge - unfortunately, it just wasn’t engaging at all. To sum it up: excellent organization, comfortable travel conditions, and an outstanding guide like Denis made this trip truly special!!! I only wish there were more professionals like him.
