Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival. Bus sightseeing tour of St. Petersburg
You arrive at the hotel on your own.
A shuttle service to the hotel is available for an additional fee and must be booked in advance: private transfer from the train station/ airport (from 2000 rubles/car).

From 14:00 until departure for the program, a representative of the company with a sign "Sightseeing Petersburg" will meet you in the lobby of the hotel.
He will answer all your questions, give you updated tour programs and offer additional excursions that you can purchase at will.
Guaranteed hotel accommodation after 14:00. You can leave your belongings free of charge in the luggage room of the hotel.

Excursion to the "Savior on Blood".
The Church of the Resurrection of Christ ("Saved on Blood") is a memorial to Emperor Alexander II. The main feature of the "Savior on Spilled Blood" is the unique mosaics covering the facades of the building and decorating its interiors. That is why the cathedral can rightfully be called a "museum of mosaic art", as you will certainly see during the tour.
Boat tour of rivers and canals.
A boat trip will allow you to see the city from an unusual angle from the water. We will see the city in the "smooth turns" of Fontanka, Moika, Neva and small canals. Palaces and residential buildings, castles rise above granite embankments. You will see bridges and grilles, different in design and decoration. They give a unique look to our city, which is inextricably linked with the water expanses of the Neva, small rivers and canals.

Day 3 - Tsarskoye Selo: Catherine's Palace and Park

Room release. Check out of the hotel with your belongings. Transfer to Tsarskoye Selo.
Bus tour to Tsarskoye Selo "Suburban imperial residences".
The city is located 25 km from St. Petersburg - about an hour's drive away. You will drive along the old Tsarskoye Selo road and learn how you traveled in Russia before the advent of highways and railways. The magnificent and unique Catherine Palace brought special fame to Tsarskoye Selo. This is where you will visit.

Excursion to the Catherine Palace with the Amber Room.
The Catherine Palace was founded by Catherine I, and was completed under Elizabeth Petrovna and Catherine II, who called it "whipped cream" for the beauty of the facade. Now it is one of the best examples of Russian Baroque. The large hall of the palace, with an area of 850 square meters, was built without a single column, and thanks to the mirrors reflecting the windows and the aerial painting of the ceiling, it seemed that there were no walls or ceiling in the huge hall. The main pearl of the palace is the famousThe amber room, which mysteriously disappeared during the war.
Visit to the Agate rooms.
You will visit the Agate rooms, which are the front part of the 2-storey complex Cold Baths, located in Catherine Park. The interiors of the Agate rooms are decorated with marble, murals, gilded bronze, parquet floors, colored Ural and Altai jasper.
A tour of the Catherine Park.
After visiting the Agate Rooms, you will have a tour of the magnificent park surrounding the palace. Russian Russian Museum is decorated with exquisite pavilions, bizarrely shaped ponds and numerous monuments in honor of the victories of Russian weapons during the Russo-Turkish wars.

Day 4 - Tsarskoye Selo: Fedorovsky Cathedral and Tsarskoye Selo Lyceum

Walking tour "The City of Muses – Tsarskoye Selo".
The fate of Tsarskoye Selo is amazing and unusual. Born as a summer imperial residence, it becomes a place of attraction not only for dignitaries, but also for creative people. A.S. Pushkin was brought up here at the Lyceum, N.M. Karamzin wrote The History of the Russian State, M.Y. Lermontov served in the Hussar regiment, I. Annensky, A. Akhmatova, N. Gumilev lived, studied, and served ... No wonder Tsarskoye Selo is rightfully called the "city of muses".
You will visit the Lyceum, the Alexander Palace and the Fedorovsky Cathedral, take a walk in the Alexander Park.

Visit to the Fedorovsky Cathedral.
At the beginning of our walk, you will visit one of the attractions of Tsarskoye Selo – the Fedorovsky Sovereign Cathedral. It was built on behalf of Emperor Nicholas II for His Majesty's own convoy and a consolidated infantry regiment. There was a private prayer room of the imperial family.

Excursion to the Alexander Palace.
The Alexander Palace was built at the end of the XVIII century by order of Empress Catherine II as a gift for the wedding of her grandson, Grand Duke Alexander Pavlovich (the future Emperor Alexander I). The palace was designed by the famous Italian architect Giacomo Quarenghi. A vast park with a lake was laid out around the palace.

Excursion to the Tsarskoye Selo Lyceum.
You will see a Large hall, a Library, a newspaper room, classrooms and dormitories of pupils, hear a story about free lyceum life and the principles of education, thanks to which Russian culture has received new big names.

Day 5 - Pavlovsk, Pavlovsk Palace

The tour was absolutely wonderful! Each day was packed with incredible experiences, all of them very positive. Our guide, Anastasia Pokrovskaya, was fantastic! The only downside was the accommodation in St. Petersburg – Hotel "Moscow" didn’t quite meet the promised comfort level. Next time I visit this amazing city, I’ll be choosing different lodging.
