  • Day 1 - Departure to Kolomna. Guided tour of the Kolomna Kremlin. Free time or guided tours for an additional fee. Transfer to Ryazan

    07:00 Gathering of the group in Moscow, VDNKh metro station, parking lot to the right of the Kosmos hotel: bus parking scheme.

    07:15 Departure to Kolomna. Kolomna is one of the oldest cities in the Moscow region, Dmitry Donskoy's favorite city. Its main symbol is the Kolomna Kremlin, which has remained inaccessible to invaders since the 16th century.

    • Fragments of the fortress wall and preserved towers, of which the more significant are Marinkina, Granovitaya and Pyatnitskaya passage.
    • Cathedral Square, whose architectural appearance consists of the Assumption Cathedral, built by decree of Dmitry Donskoy, the tent bell tower (17th century) is the most powerful belfry of this type in the Moscow region.
    • Trinity Novo-Golutvin Monastery (XVII — XIX centuries).
    • The Resurrection Church (14th — 19th centuries) is one of the most ancient buildings of the Kolomna Kremlin, where Prince Dmitry Donskoy and Evdokia of Suzdal were married in 1366.
    • St. Nicholas Gostiny Church (1501) is one of the first brick churches in Russia.

    Honey is an ancient symbol of health, wealth and well–being. Kolomna has always been the center of beekeeping, where the traditions of honey-making were developed and preserved.

    Under the cool vaults of the cellar of the boyar's house, the housekeeper, the honey cook and his assistant, the bee keeper, will meet. They will introduce you to the history of ancient crafts: the history of beekeeping and honey making, not only in theory, but also in taste.

    An up-to-date version of the ancient delicacy has been created in Zaraysk, making it a gastronomic brand of the city. Gingerbread is an ancient dish of Russian cuisine, similar to gingerbread, but it has a unique composition, thanks to the addition of honey, it does not harden for a long time, and the combination of spices gives strength and vivacity. This is the first assistant in Russia on a long journey and military campaigns.

    A master class on cooking cookies — "Zaraisky kneading" — is an opportunity to prepare your own unique delicacy. The participants of the master class will become owners of secret recipes and properties of spices.

    At the end, the award of the honorary title of "Kovrizhkopektsa".

What is important to know before going on a tour?

Joining children's groups to the tour is on request.

The time of departure and arrival in Moscow is indicative and cannot be considered a mandatory item of the program.

The company reserves the right to make changes to the excursion program depending on objective circumstances while maintaining volume and quality.

It is possible to replace some excursions with equivalent ones. And also to replace hotels of the same category or higher.

If the number of tourists in a group is less than 20 people, a minibus "Foreign car" of tourist class can be provided.

The company does not arrange room check-in for your safety and comfort.

This program is recommended for children over 6 years old.

The seating on the bus is fixed. Seats on the bus are provided automatically 1 day before the start of the tour. In case of an emergency, the available places are determined by the guide.

The "Location selection" service, the manager will fix the desired location for you in advance (the cost of the service in the prices and discounts section).

The time according to the tour program (especially the arrival time) is indicated approximately.

There may be delays due to circumstances beyond the control of the Tour Operator/ Travel Agent (traffic jams, vehicle breakdowns, etc.), and therefore the arrival time of the bus at the final destination along the route may be extended by 2-3 hours.

When you book your travel documents yourself for further travel to your destination (permanent residence), you must take into account the possible increase in time on the tour.

There is no compensation for travel tickets (air, railway) in case of a delay in vehicles during the tour due to reasons beyond the control of the Tour Operator/ Travel Agent.

    Many thanks to “Big Country” for this wonderful tour. The entire trip was organized exceptionally well: the hotels, meals, and transportation were all excellent. But the real highlight of the journey was our tour guide, Denis!!! Honestly, without him the trip would not have been nearly as memorable. Visiting so many churches and historical sites without meaningful context would have quickly become monotonous. Most of the local guides simply rushed through the program with dry facts and dates, almost like a school lecture. Denis, however, made everything come alive. Even before we arrived at each destination, he was already sharing fascinating stories and background information on the bus, which helped us appreciate the places so much more once we got there. Not a single person was late for the bus in the mornings! Everyone was eager not to miss his stories!!! He has an incredible knowledge of the history and geography of the region, and he could make even the scenery outside the window interesting!!! Listening to him never felt tiring because he spoke with such enthusiasm and passion!!! For the last two days we had a different guide, and the contrast was huge - unfortunately, it just wasn’t engaging at all. To sum it up: excellent organization, comfortable travel conditions, and an outstanding guide like Denis made this trip truly special!!! I only wish there were more professionals like him.

    I really enjoyed the trip. I learned a lot more about my country and its history, and visited many historic cities and monasteries. It’s an experience I will remember for a long time.
