The museum exhibits tell about the way of merchant life, the interiors of that time are recreated here: the master rooms, the red chamber, the basement, the Gorokhovetsky toy, carvings, needlework and much more.
Excursion to the chambers of the Tsar of Peas The house of M.I.Shorin, also known as the "Chambers of the Tsar of Peas" is a wooden mansion that is representative of the most colorful works of Gorokhovets Art Nouveau and Neo-Russian style.
The architect came up with an incredible wooden tower in shape, which contained several architectural directions at once.
Built at the beginning of the last century, it belonged to the manufacturer and shipbuilder Mikhail Ivanovich Shorin, a man of business and acumen.
Today, the House of Folk Art and Crafts is located within the walls of the house of the manufacturer Shorin.
Exhibitions of objects of the past and exhibits of decorative and applied art, made by Gorokhovets craftsmen, are held here.

Sheremetyevo Castle tour Sheremetyevo Castle is called the "pearl of the Volga region".

Its owners were Vasily Petrovich and Olga Dmitrievna Sheremetev, descendants of a famous family.

The castle, designed by the German architect Rudolf Muller in the late Gothic style, also has features of Gothic, Oriental, Romanesque and Old Russian styles.
The combination of red and black bricks with white stone details is simply fascinating.

Lake Svetloyar is one of the most fantastic corners of the Nizhny Novgorod region, a natural monument of federal importance.

In the ancient village of Bolshoe Boldino, Nizhny Novgorod province, there is the ancestral estate of the poet - a cultural monument of federal significance.
The original manor house where the poet lived when he came to Boldino has been preserved here, the wing (patrimonial office) and outbuildings have been restored, as well as the manor park with ancient ponds and trees left over from Pushkin's time.
A leisurely walk through the ancient parks will allow you to feel the charm of that distant era, touch the mystery of Pushkin's inspiration.
The exposition of the house museum is dedicated to Pushkin's stay in Bolshoy Boldino.
In the rooms where the poet stayed, the interiors have been recreated, which allow us to imagine the atmosphere of his Boldinsky dwelling.
The entire complex of the estate was recreated on the basis of archival documents and archaeological excavations, the stone Church of the Assumption, which was built by Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin's grandfather and was consecrated in the year of the future poet's birth, was restored.
