A walk through Vladikavkaz is like a step through time.
Today you will not just walk around the city — you will walk through the pages of history, architectural masterpieces and cultural interweaving of different eras and beliefs.
Your way lies along Mira Avenue, one of the most atmospheric streets in the city.
It was founded back in the 19th century, but it has retained its vibrant soul: here you can hear the music of the local radio, notice the famous Vladikavkaz tram, which has become a symbol of the city, drink coffee in a cozy coffee shop or just stop and breathe in the air filled with the spirit of antiquity.
And if the day turns out to be clear, you will enjoy stunning views of the Main Caucasian Ridge and the majestic Mount Kazbek, soaring above the horizon.
You will walk along the legendary avenue, visit Bulgakov and his Hippopotamus cat, remember Pushkin, stroll past the mansions of the 19th century and learn how traditions and mutual understanding were formed in the capital of North Ossetia, where the Armenian church, Lutheran church, Sunni mosque and Orthodox churches find each other side by side.
Let's not forget about cultural gems: the building of the former Paris Hotel, the Academic Russian Theater named after Vakhtangova and the branch of the Mariinsky Theatre are all part of the large and multifaceted face of Vladikavkaz.
After a busy day, transfer to the hotel, where you will find comfortable accommodation of your choice.
Dinner is an independent meal.
